Reviews aren't the best mate, but a very small sample size.

If you still wanna buy, Good Guys is even cheaper at $3524.00 after $300 payback via claim. I'm sure even more room to negotiate in store.

I'd still prefer a Sony 85 over this, recently its price went as low to $4.2K, I was able to negotiate it to under $4K including delivery at JB.

    • What Sony model was it you got?

      • Sony KD85X8500F, same as Sillywalks has posted the photo for below.

    • Saw this Sony 85” at Bing Lee Blacktown Sydney a few weeks ago….

  • Still waiting for those giant roll up screens I was promised 10 years ago

    • Didn’t LG have one at CES this year?

I don't imagine HDR would be all that great with 450nits?
Also says 50Hz refresh rate in the specs, so don't be fooled by the "Clear Motion 200" trickery.

    • The 85 inch get 200hz while 75 get 100hz refresh rate. I think this must be a typo

      • On the TCL website, the 70", 75" and 85" are all listed as having 200 CMR. The 65" is 100.

This is not a true refresh rate though, it's after their clear motion processing. With most other manufacturers, this is generally double the actual refresh rate, so I would expect them to be 100Hz. Not sure where JB gets the information of 50Hz from as I can't find a true refresh rate anywhere.
