Product description:
The 2010 Wii game, Kirbys Epic Yarn is warping to Nintendo 3DS. The game follows Kirby, who has been transformed into yarn and sent to Patch Land, a world made completely out of fabric. He must help Prince Fluff by collecting seven pieces of magic yarn that are used to stitch Patch Land together in order to stop the game's antagonist, Yin Yarn. Kirby's Epic Yarn utilizes a unique craft-based visual style; the game's characters and environments consist entirely of yarn, fabric, and other craft materials. Unlike most games in the Kirby series, Kirby is unable to inhale or fly, instead relying on the ability to morph into other objects, such as a parachute, a car, and a submarine, as well as larger objects such as a tank and a steam train. Features: Includes all stages from the Wii version Additional abilites, new mini games featuring other Kirby Characters like King Dedede and Meta Knight A new Devlish mode difficulty

geesus the console is dead and the game is still $39, $49, even more for zelda? really?

    • Just Dance 2020 is coming for the Wii in November at full price. I don't find this very surprising.

First party Nintendo games rarely drop (drastically) in price and usually hold their value as used games.
3DS may be dead and retailers will be looking to offload 3DS consoles and games probably in the lead up to Christmas.
If anything, the 3DS is a budget way now for young (and old) gamers to access an awesome back catalogue of games.

Nintendo cartridges still cost alot to manufacture. Compared to other console that use CD and are cheap to make and therefore can afford to drop in price when on sale or become older titles. Digital titles on the other had should be cheaper since it doesn't require retail packaging or cartridge to be made.
