That's a complete lie. Arma 3 has a very active playerbase here and DayZ is fairly active too.
I've been waiting for a decent AAA bundle for ages now, and this is almost a repeat of the previous arma bundle, which was probably the last AAA one they did. They've really dropped the ball lately.
They had the occasional good bundle in there, of course depending on one's tastes.
The current CK2 bundle is great value if you like this kind of game.
Also, I think the sale to IGN does not have to do with it but rather the fact that there are so many people now who think they are clever by buying many bundle copies and then selling the keys for individual games on forums.
Publishers and developers have previously said in interviews that this conduct is what stops them providing games for bundles as it devalues their game permanently and pus the price under pressure.
Also, these days people expect AAA games for $15 in a bundle - in the old days you would $80 for one(!) game which was a lot shorter and of lesser quality.
Just my five cents.
Note: I don't understand why people are complaining with so many having backlogs they cannot get through in their entire lifetime. Does it matter if only every 2 months a great bundle comes along - this gives people time to work on their backlogs. ;-)
You are right, I have nearly 700 steam games, most of which are untouched.

not all ARMA 3 DLC, rubbish DayZ included for a premium over the rest.
yes, ARMA 3 is quieter than it used to be in OCE with the modded servers also slowing down.
DayZ is still not as good as the arma 2 mod.
I guess any purchase of the bundle you can still give 100% to the red cross. Which might be the lesser of 3 evils.
Good bundle if you don't have any of the games but I just need DayZ and the first tier so it is a bit of a pass for me.
Only got the first tier but this might bring down prices for DayZ for awhile such is good now just need to find a reliable seller on Reddit or otherwise.
Really wish they would let us buy DayZ for $10 USD alone as honestly that is all I need and am interested for.. the rest I either have or will really never touch as I have no interest for.
