Good price.. too bad I already have a charger.

    • There are AA eneloops on eBay for around $13.50 delivered. Coincidently I just received them a few days ago and they're really good.

    Cheaper in store at Dicksmith?

Although, if you definitely need delivery, this is a great deal for $2 extra

  • just after i ordered something else…i hate this!

  • Do you have a 4x AAA version?

    • +1

Sorry manufacturer only includes AA's with the charger

You can add 4pk AAA $14
      2pk AAA $8.50

  • +2

Also check the pricing for extra batteries such as AA/AAA or C/D adaptors. Example DS price 4Pk AA/AAA $18.99 our price $14

Model NCMQN04A4S is 1500 recharge. Manufacturer product link http://www.sanyo.com.au/products/batteries/rechargeable/ncmq…

  • perfect! Just ordered some. DSE seems to be out stock in WA, not surprised for 19.99.

  • hey junglejumble

You offer other eneloop stuff as extras to this ozbargain
but you don't have these listed separately or do you?

  • +2

Are we able to get the 4pk batteries only?

  • I second/third/fourth that. Just want a good deal on the cells, preferably AAA

  • me too. already have charger

    aa/aaa 4pk $17.95 delivered
    aa/aaa 2pk $10.95 delivered

Do you want pricing on C/D adaptors with 2pk AA?

    • What about adding an option for a cheaper additional pack at time of purchase, like with the charger deal.

Specifically one pack of AAA at $17.95, plus an additional add-on pack at $14 (they are $14 from the charger deal add-on)

      • +4

Done & done. All single battery packs now have the option to add a second pack at the discounted rate.
        Home time now!

    • yes want to see the C & D adaptors available as separate items.

Also, are you able to get those Eneloop "Family " Packs.
Blue case and has a range of batteries, adaptors etc in one kit. Great value!

    Lithium Ion batteries ftw!
    Good bargain though :)

  • Great price. Ordered.

  • Hey junglejumble,

I want to buy the bundle but want to add x1 AA 4pack and x2 AAA 4packs - it doesn't seem to be a way to do it (can only add one AAA 4pack - unless I add it manually as another item but then it is $18 not $14 (which doesn't seem right).

    Any ideas?

  • I just placed my order as a guest and haven't gotten an email and suspect I may have mistyped my email. What can I do?

  • lol i should read more.

  • AAA Eneloop 2 Pack +$8.50
    AAA Eneloop 2 Pack +$14.00

Hey JungleJumble, could you please fix that so I can place the order. THanks

    • sorry! fixed now

  • -4

I dont know the comparison of these with Eveready.
I got my Everready charger + 4 rechargable cells for 20 dollars from woolies with 10 dollars cash back to my paypal account instantly. But it was few months back.
Another 4 rechargable cells for around 10 dollars from Aldi.
and Thanks to staples 20 dollars coupon, got 4 Duracell rechagrable cells for 5 dollars. As far now, I am quite happy with all of these different brand cells.

    • +2

Its a shame cos these Eneloops are a mountain above other rechargeable batteries as people here will testify. :-)

    • +2

Eveready will lose their charge while not being used, whereas eneloop don't. There's nothing more frustrating than taking a spare set of batteries for the camera only to find when you need them that they've gone flat while in storage.

  • Do we have to bundle this item with extra batteries? I can't add just this item into my shopping cart.

    • Does anyone know if I can charge these batteries with another brand's slow charger or should I get the one advertised here?. I bought a charger from Aldi for $7 and according to the manual, it takes 24-29hrs to fully charge a AA.

      • "Rule of thumb" is charging rate is 1/10 of the battery capacity.
Given that these are 2000mAh, then the charge rate probably is about 200mA for 10 hours (give or take)
Your Aldi charger should be fine, just it will take a while.

I just bought a couple, great value with the charger and an extra set of 4x AA.

    • Yeah same here, I really want to just buy a 4xAAA, but can't add it to my cart without having to add another 'additional battery option'. Doesn't seem possible to add just one item.

  • Ordered a set w/ AAA.

What about the glitter coloured ones?

Noticed there was a fancier charger, but costed more.

  • While this is a really good deal - can't find any better ones on eBay, if you're ONLY looking to purchase one set (batteries + charger), this might be a better deal as it averages to $5 per battery as opposed to $5.50.

But of course the one posted holds four batteries at the same time. And also the Apple batteries are rebranded eneloops.

Otherwise it's cheaper to get more batteries on Junglejumble.

    • I suspect Apple has not update their batteries to new eneloops since they started selling last year. So it is highly possible that Apple's batteries can only recharge up to 1000 times, whereas Sanyo's new eneloop can recharge up to 1500 times.

      • +1

Wait, are eneloop's better than Li-ion batteries? Wouldn't eneloop batteries be VERY heavy compared to Lithium Ion? (I have what you guys called an eneloop included in my m950 mouse, brand is Enitime)
NFI why other people are negging my comment… cause lithium polymer batteries are lightweight, compared to a rechargeable battery.

        • It's probably because of the voltage difference, and the fact liion don't like to be discharged below 3v. You can get away with lifepo4 with a dummy cell for each pair. They cope slightly better than liion for discharge and are muchcloser to 2x alkaline voltage at 3.2 nominal. Liion are like 3.7 nominal.

If u got a device that takes 3 alkaline. You could go 1 liion plus 2 dummy cells. For 2 cells you can go 1 lifepo4 + 1 dummy. etc. For one cell you can't do Jack.

  • Thanks, hope I get it soon.

Does anyone know if it takes the same amount of time to charge batteries from other brands? (assuming same capacity)

  • +3

Sorry but I have to ask, are these genuine Sanyo Eneloop?

  • What's the mah on these please?

    • 2000

    • Cool, thanks

  • so i notice theres two version, one is a normal charge which the staff at DS claim it will take up to 10hrs to charge whereas the other one is a "quick charge" is may take 4hrs at about $30ish

does it really matter whether it charges quick or not?

    • In my experience with regular batteries, the quick chargers tend to make the batteries quite warm, and the batteries tend to die much sooner if a quick charger is used all the time.

  • Can these be used overseas on 110V?

    • yep traveler conscious, just need your adaptor
      Input power supply AC100-240V :)

    • if your lucky it will be 110-240v input on the charger.

i bought a couple of "Sony CycleEnergy" charger/batteries from HN the other week for $20 instore.
Pretty much the same as these for performance i believe.

Sony Charger was 110v-240v…..Bonus for travelling.

  • eneloops are awesome.. just ordered my charger!

  • OK, I'll bite. ;)

  • Is this charger allow me to charge AAA battery as well in addition of AA?

    • Yes AA & AAA supported

  • -2

DSE has the quick charger with 4 batteries for $34.99
Jungle wants RRP$49.95 Special price $40.9

is this a mistake or the correct price?

    Also
If I want to get additional battery options, it only lets me order one of each special.
And it doesn't let me specify which mAh rating for the AAA or AA batteries!

Can this be amended or do I have to email through want I want?

    cheers

    • The deal is for the 1500 cycle model $22, DSE $24.99 store only. Not the 1000 cycle model DS is doing for $19.99 store only ****Please note on top of this we also offer FREE shipping Australia wide****************

The quick charger is not available at heavy discounts. It is on the list
and cheaper than DS when you include their postage rate.

There are only two models in Eneloop batteries AA 2000mAh & AAA 800mAh

  • could the battery charge individually or in pairs?

    • 2x or 4x on the charger. Also note you can't charge 2x AA + 2x AAA at the same time, it's one or the other.

  • -4

A major problem with buying Eneloops is fake ones. While I have absolute confidence when buying from DSE, I am not very sure about this store yet. Can anyone back this? Remember that it's extremely difficult to differentiate fake Eneloops from genuine ones, sometime impossible therefore you may have to go by the store (i.e how big it is).
See one of many extensive discussions here http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?238390-En…

    • +1

These units are purchased from exactly the same AUSTRALIAN supplier as DSE. If you are suggesting ours are knock offs - theirs must be too.

      THESE ARE NOT KNOCK OFFS.

      • -3

Don't jump to conclusion. I didn't suggest yours are fake. I just stated the known fact with online eneloops and ask about your buyers' experience. If you confirm that your eneloops are genuine and stand by your products, that's very good. If buyers bought from you, used and tested the batteries and found them genuine, that's excellent. How can they be tested? Read the candlepowerforums link that I posted, some technical knowledge and tool is required

        • Sorry for the attitude. We worked damn hard to make this offer possible. I can understand where you are coming from though. Again sorry.

  • I can't seem to connect to the junglejumble website at all (with Optus ISP) for the last 10 minutes.
Also, how can I add two extra sets of 4xAAAs?

    • Server was down. Now back up. Sorry about that. - you've discovered the catch - you only get one bite of the pie. If you want more than one bonus pack - you will have to purchase another product with the bonus option enabled ie. any eneloop product.

      • no worries. thanks for getting back to me.

  • Currently showing as out of stock. Will you be getting any more in during the valid period of this promo?

  • Eneloops are awesome.

    • oh. out of stock. dammit.

  • 1500 cycle deal sold out at this price.

Update to current orders - Delay

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for those eagerly awaiting for their orders to arrive but we got sent an incorrect part number. This error has been resolved and the correct stock is in transit as we speak.

Unfortunately delivery will be delayed a few more days while we wait for the 1500's to arrive. If anyone wants to swap for the 1000 cycle - please give us a call, we can get them out immediately and issue a $3 refund per charger+battery unit

Again our sincere apologies for the delay, we hope to have the correct items out no later than Monday of next week.

    • Maybe let people know by email; rather than posting in this old thread?
I am only aware of the issues this morning, via shipment notice.

  • Just wondering if anyone has received there order. I'm in Vic and still haven't gotten mine. JungleJumble - whats happening?

    • same still havent gotten mine in brisbane. Ordered exactly 10 workings days ago.

  • +1

Battery packs were held as they sent us the wrong part number. They just arrived 1/2 hour ago so all orders will be finalised Monday. For people that ordered chargers alone they will have received, it only affected orders with additional batteries.

    • Dan an email would have been better to find out about this stuff up
instead of coming on here to found out the news!!!!!!
And especially seeing I emailed you asking what's happening after spending almost $90 on your eneloops!

price was good but that's about it so far!

      • +1

I agree - i have no problem waiting for my order but would have been nice for either an email update or another update on here. I assumed they were sent last Monday as per previous JungleJumble post - just got worried it may have gotten lost somewhere.

  • now 26.95 is that right? If so, can you expire the deal?

  • JungleJumble - have all now been sent? if not when will they be?

  • +1

Mine just arrived. Brisbane. Charger + 1 pack of AAA

  • Mine haven't arrived in Melbourne. Can you please update JungleJumble on order dispatches? Have they all gone out now?

  • I'm still waiting for mine.

  • JungleJumble - your profile indicates you have been online today. Can you please confirm if all orders have now been processed. Mine has still not arrived in Melbourne. Do you send your orders registered post, courier or just normal post.

  • Mine arrived in a Regular Post - Prepaid satchel (eParcel)

  • Also arrived this morning, thanks.
looks like shipments have been sent out now.

  • Should I still be waiting for this? Bejeezus!

    • Arrived today.
