Pretty good price for a slab of Hoegaarden.
Seem to be only this price in Epping, Thomastown and Epping stores.
I'm assuming they are price matching Epping Costco.

The slabs i bought had exp of Nov-2019.
$35.55 per bottle? That’s very expensive, lol.

It’s great beer, even better with a wedge of lemon inside
It's not a beer for everyone - it's a quite fruity pale lager, not going to appeal to someone who usually drinks regular lager, and probably not good enough to appeal to people who drink proper craft beer.
Bought a longneck OS to try (it was cheap) a few years back. Half a glass was enough, the rest went down the drain. Even worse than DB Export "beer". Plenty love it though so don't be put off if you want to give it a burl.

Wife and I bought a slab a couple of years ago. It's not normal Hoegaarden.
It's very zesty and not very 'beer' flavoured.
Neither of us liked it and we've never had it since.We both like normal Hoegaarden.
We both generally like wheat beers.I've only ever seen Hoegaarden White, do do have a link to 'normal' Hoegaarden? I wouldn't mind giving it a try.
Oh strewth, I lived in Europe for a while and we didn't refer to it as "White" there, the 'White' part is added in the Australian market (as with Peroni "Red").
On reflection, we used to get the Hoegaarden Speciale which is seasonal.
So it's probable that I recalled my preference for Speciale over White, but not realising White and Hoegaarden are the same, then confused it with the beer I particularly disliked: Kronenbourg Blanc!My apologies if I have misled anyone.

Except it's not normal Hoegaarden. it's Hoegaarden White - different beer.
Think you might be mistaken Sam? Witbier blanche from coriander and orange peel. Sounds normal to me.

I'm more used to calling Hoegaarden White just Hoegaarden, and I'm more used to drinking Hoegaarden Speciale than Hoegaarden.
Kronenbourg Blanc is likely the beer adding the "White" to the name has made me think of.Sorry!

Can go to other dans and ask for price match, just got 2 cases.
I'd check the Best Before date before purchase.
