I have contacted them twice recently. They responded within 2 business days, I showed them photos of the damaged items via email and they issued a refund. It does take up to 5 business days for the refund to be processed which they do mention.
On a previous OzSale deal an OzBargainer mentioned they were slow to respond but was issued a refund without having to return the shoes see here. Another OzBargainer mentioned a cancelled order took 5 days for his refund to reach his bank account see here

I had two seperate orders of Converse Chuck Taylors that had some scuff marks, which after providing photos they refunded me and I got to keep them. Have also ordered other stuff before without issue. I actually just received an order today for some boots and jeans which are really good quality. I guess the quality depends a lot on what product you order as some brands are better than others.

That’s y I ignored@Shineeapen: Unfortunately returning an item because of incorrect size falls under their 'Change of Mind Returns', so buyer is responsible for return postage costs.
On the other hand, cost of returning faulty items is covered by the seller according to their returns policy.
I find contacting stores via PayPal usually gets a reply if they won't respond to emails. You can also initiate a free return via PayPal were they will reimburse you up to $45 of the postage fee.
Ozsale customer service is the WORST to deal with. It takes 2-3 business days to respond to your message. There's no contact numbers. Recently i had an order canceled and still trying to get the refund from them.
Made the order on 25/7 and still no refund after numerous contact messages.
I'm in the process of gathering all information and contact messages about the purchase to send to ACCC.
