  I was looking at an hotel in Perth, way too expensive compare to other booking websites. Even with 8%.

  I'm not sure about the way too expensive thing, because the hotel I booked was cheaper here than on booking.com and the 8% discount was on top of the cheaper price. Maybe just luck, but I got about $80 cheaper the same hotel for 2 nights.
