Hugo Boss Bottled Intense 50ml, $34.99 Pickup @ Chemist Warehouse (Sold Out Online)

2070

Usually $59.95 (ticketed CW price),reduced to $34.99.

This is the Bottled INTENSE. Smells stronger and lasts longer. Lol :-)

Even if you buy 2 x 50ml it's still way cheaper than the same fragrance in the 100ml.

Looks like they have it on eBay, free postage on orders over $50 or if you're like me, I just went in store to save on postage.

Not sure of availability but I cleaned out Botany.

Enjoy!

EDIT: Update

For those in Sydney still searching, I just raided Chemist Warehouse on George Street (next to Maccas). I cleaned out the cabinet but the helpful staff told me they have 10 more out the back. They close at 10pm tonight!

This is part of Father's Day deals for 2019.

      • +8

Jesus. Sence of humour sadly lacking here at times. Let me take that nasty - away.

        • +1

          Haha thanks mate!

        • +1

At least you were right about the lack of humour.

        • I blame that on Sunday night

    • Hi do you mind to give me the manufacturer code on the box? Thanks

      • Bought C&C can let you know when I pick it up.

  • Thanks, picked up the last one in ACT, wanted to grab a few as they will be good for travel

    • And, my order was just cancelled with no explanation…

  • You could also probably stack with the Shop Back $2 offer on eBay and if you order 2 x you can get free shipping plus the 1% cash back. This is a great fragrance!

    • Where is this on eBay?

    • Noticed 200ml at 79$ at Keysborough store. There were atleast 3 in stock atm.

      • that 200ml is probs EDT not EDP

Can also get free shipping on it @ MyChemist using "FS7824" :)

They're just the sister store of CW.

    • You're the man dowey!

    • +2

Waited too long. Seems unavailable online now.

    • Picked one up through there a bit earlier thanks doweyy.

  • Thanks did a click and collect but at last stage of checkout noticed that free shipping with Shipster was pre-selected, so get delivery instead

    • What the… Shipster was supposed to finish end of July, you lucked out 😄

      • I know, surprised me too. No one else sees this when completing an order as C+C on the last step before confirming?

  • Great post OP!

Anyone knows if David Jones price match?

    • No

      • but what would their excuse be? the price match policy doesn't say anything that excludes this https://www.davidjones.com/price-promise

        • They’d say we’re the authorised seller and they’re not or something to that effect

        • +1

They may say Chemist Warehouse is a Warehouse, which is excluded

I’ve no experience of trying though

          • @NotBritishorUK: as expected got this reply:

Thank you for contacting David Jones in regards to our Price Matching Policy.

Please be advised that we are regrettably unable to provide a price match for the Hugo Boss EDP Fragrance in this circumstance, as we we are unable to price match with warehouse-based outlets.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your interest in David Jones.

            Kind regards,

        • They will say we don't match grey import and that "the grey market operates outside officially sanctioned sales channels, with perfumes shipped from countries where they were intended to be sold at a cheaper price. This happens without the manufacturer’s endorsement." So no, they won't pricematch.

    • +1

Trust me, David Jones refuses almost everything from my experience, usually the excuse is 'it's a warehouse store'

      • That sucks. What about Myer do they usually price match since they sell this same perfume?

cause I feel like the ones DJ and Myer sell feel a bit more legit than this

    • They will not price match. It's something to do with authorised reseller.

  • +3

So, not sure if been discussed in the past, but anyone ever get to the bottom of whether Chemist Warehouse stock is legit or legit but expired?

    • +1

Probably gets discussed on every perfume deal but no conclusions so far 🙂

    • +5

It's legit. One of my cousins works in the fragrance dept and does the orders from suppliers. Be careful of toilette vs Parfum. Parfum is longer lasting, better and generally more expensive.

    • +2

Chemist Warehouse is Australia’s largest perfume retailer.
It’ll be as legit as it comes.

      • Bigger than DJ's or Myer? Wow, have they slipped if true!

    • +2

No idea, but I'm smelling super great today lol!

    • +1

Someone posted a really good post about this. I believe the response was that Chemist Warehouse stock loses its smell quickly compared to stock bought elsewhere.

      • Probably due to being older stock and sitting around in hot warehouses. This one is EDP so should have better performance.

    • +6

Can confirm this as well. They are legit. Used to work for chemist warehouse & they do source directly from brands. Unfortunately a huge amount are the EDT (5-6 hours) instead of the EDP (10-11 hours) so definitely keep an eye out.

      • +1

While EDT and EDP do refer to the concentration, its not always an indication of performance. Some fragrances are completely different formulations for their EDT and EDP too, with different notes, they smell different. E.g Dior Sauvage, Tom Ford Black Orchid

      • I didn't know the difference so just looked it up and read this.

"Eau de Toilette: This is lighter still and usually sold in spray bottles. The lightness of it makes it more suitable to spray more liberally, the high alcohol content means it will not last very long. Generally this version is the most advisable to use day to day as it is less intense and even if you do use too much it will lighten up fairly quickly. Typically there will be 4-15% pure perfume essence."

    • Just like everything and even perfumes they go off, out of date so what I've known bc of a friend that owned his own perfume Boutique and by others that work within the perfume and beauty industry is that they are all original and are not fake it's just the perfumes that are stocked there are about to go out of date.

    • You can check with this website, but you'll need to hold the item first http://www.checkfresh.com/

  • Great deal but how do the determine the RRP of fragrances. I feel like they are all made of basically the same shit just like cloths the older stuff is cheaper

  • Same price at My Beauty Spot

And a few others half price.

    • No stock. Probably due to the supply from the same warehouse

  • Does Chemist Warehouse website not accept Gift Cards?…have couple of GC to use but don't see an option to pay using GC…

    • +1

CW Gift cards can only be used instore im afraid

  • I’m getting out of stock online 😢

    • +2

Check out dowey's comment above and get it from MyChemist with free shipping ;)

      • +1

MyChemist is doing the same thing

        • Cheers guys!

    • +1

If you use the click and collect function you can see which stores have stock if you really want it

  • I bought the 100ml in June for $59.99 with 10% shopback. Perhaps if you're willing to wait it may drop its price again…

    • Just curious if you got the EDT or EDP?

      • +1

        Yes EDP.

        • Guess, Imma have to wait, since nothing's close by! Thanks for the headsup :)

  • +2

    • You must really like this scent! How many have you purchased?

      • I love a bargain! I've purchased 10 in total but not all for me. These make great gifts and is one of my all time favorites :)

  • Ahh, missed it :)

Although, and I'm not saying this because I missed it… No.6 for me is a bit more easy on the nose, especially if you need to sneak up on a coworker lol

And there's a good special on it too, plus it comes with 2 free 1ml samples

  • +2

I've read from a few different sources that chemist warehouse and the cheaper stockists tend to get older stock, while the likes of myers and david jones get newer ones. Can anyone confirm?

At least in my experience, the smell of the ones from myers/david jones tend to last longer.

    • I've bought from both and found CW seems to wear off quicker. Not necessarily a reason NOT to buy from CW but just worth taking into account when saving some money I guess.

    • +3

Maybe cause CWH stores them in a glass shelve window direct in sunlight.

  • Picked one from CW located on corner Bourke & Swanston Melbourne
    Few more were there.

  • +1

If you want long lasting.. Get perfume oil

    • +1

Yea but usually crazy strong, as in wouldn't want to be next to someone who wears perfume oil on a bus/train/office.

      • +1

        Just dab a tiny amount
