Can someone recommend a note 9 screen protector that will stay on please…
I've tried so many and they fall off within a few days..

  • I’ve used the Kmart home brand glass screen protector on an iPhone and it’s been on for about 18 months now. I’m sure if they have one that fits your phone it will be the same material/quality?

needed it for a note 9 which has a really curved screen. No luck with it staying on …

      • Ahhhh well then I have no idea. Perhaps curved screens are just not suitable with screen protectors and you’ll have to accept that?

  • Get the knock off whitestone dome on ebay/amazon. Had them and they were great.

Too bad they don't support the s10 (the knockoffs)

was this for a note 9? The curve glass is so hard to accommodate for :(

      • Yap it worked without issues when i had mine.

          I would caution that.
There's plenty of cheap/knock-off whitestones, and some of them actually ruin your phone/screen.

I think it's better to pay the hefty "samsung fine" and get the official Whitestone pack. It is an expensive phone afterall.

Or you can buy curved sheets of glass that have some glue. They eventually pop off, some in 24hours others in 6 months. But you could buy a dozen and replace them as needed, it's a possible solution.

          • @Kangal: Got 2 from eBay and one from Amazon. No issues at all.

Check the sellers feedback, make sure they've been in business.

            Check how to install properly.

The curved glass sheets lol, might as well not buy them. The gap means you get dust under and you need to press harder.

Easy to remove the ones I suggested. Use a business card and slip in from the edges. Done

              @mbck: Seller's feedback isn't helpful at all.
It's usually like, Items arrived fast or Thank you or A+, it is not a review of the product.

Can you link to the one's you have used?
I know there are some/many that do ruin your phone, so the curved glass sheets are much much better solution. Otherwise, pay up and get the Whitestone's is the general advice I've seen on the interwebs.

  • It's just the way curve glass works, the glue can't be applied on certain parts.

  • I've used the UV glue ones and they've always been great.

    $50+ for Whitestone

$10~ for generic one off eBay which I found to be just as good.

    • Would you please provide a link to one of the generic ones on ebay so that I can know what to look for?

I've tried a few "curved glass sheets + glue" and they have all let dust through under the protector.

      • I just bought a few of these for my/kids phones - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/163684916953

        Hopefully they're good!

      • Similar to the link below

No dust has gotten under as the glue covers the full screen including the curved area of the screen protector.

The ones you've purchased have adhesive only on the edges hence letting the dust get through.

        • Yes, the ones I've used have a thin line of adhesive on the edges and are useless.

The one by MynyMouqe looks like the UV glue is applied to the phone and the protector is pushed on top. Is the glue permanent? Can the protector be removed later without damaging the screen?

@skid: Yep you essentially cure the liquid glue.

I would recommend watching some installation videos on YouTube to follow it.

Make sure you have a level surface and tape your buttons and holes.

I've removed them from various phones a few times and it's been fine. You will get glue residue (gunk) that you have to scrape off with your fingernails

On cracks, you'll actually have less sharing and fragments because the glue acts as a layer.

@Unorthodox: good to hear your experience
heard some bad review on these UV-cured glue protection - about how much of a nightmare it is to remove the fragments should you chip or crack it - which made me too scared to go down that path

  • You need 2.5D glass.

  • You can try these Hydrogel screen protectors

They are for scratch resistant only though.

  • Just bought these from an eBay seller. Haven't really dropped the phone since I have put one on but it seems to fit better than the more expensive one I purchased in-store (which did come off a number of times). I'm also happy with the look (not having a black border) but you do see a narrow stripe of adhesive around the edge. The only real complaint I had with the order was the fact that it arrived late.
