  • Code not working.
2 bluecup capsule packs in cart, no discount.
Tried with above, first had 2 lid packs also, didn't work.
    Any idea why?

    • I've just checked this for you! Please add the Bluecup Starter Pack to your cart and try again. The discount isn't applicable for lids, accessories etc. I'll add more detail to the listing - cheers! Kayla

  • …$40 for one refillable dolce gusto SS pod?
    i'll stick with recaps thanks… :)

    • $32 after discount!

      • +1

yeah…but i can get 3x recaps pods for around $15 delivered and they last a couple hundred reuses each :)

        • +1

Our steel capsules will outlive your machine! We've been using our 3+ times a day since 2014 - quite economical in the long term, we think! However, we're so glad to hear you are using a sustainable alternative :) Kayla

  • Anyone used these before? I've always been intrigued by the idea, just not sure of whether the implementation is actually practical.

Have dolce gusto SSteel, work well. There are several different types though.
Benefits: can use your own filling, tea, chai, organic coffee. Tastes better. Easy to fill.
Also using Bluecup for Nespresso, excellent Crema, takes 2-3 seconds to fill with better coffee, cheaper.

i use recaps pods for dolce gusto…
put it this way: havent bought a dolce gusto pod since i started using my own coffee & refillable pods :)

    • That's interesting. I'm really curious how they work since the whole idea of pods is for them to be pierced when the machine starts up. How do they not get shredded to bits over time and become useless?

      • +3

they are designed to work with your specific machine and have a hole in the top lid where the injector feeds into for the extraction process
the only extra thing you have to do is prepack the pod with your preferred coffee :)

        • Cool, thanks for the info. Someone at work was asking about these last week, I'll forward this deal onto them.

  • Maybe better off with a fully manual machine if you’re going to go to the effort of refilling pods? More control and similar level of clean up.

I guess you could refill multiple pods for family members if they prefer the ease of using a pod machine.

Reasons here: advanced cancer, pods work, manual too much to deal with.
Advantage of SSteel(DG pod): no aluminium, plastic (leaching of hormone like chemicals- bad!)
Can use own tea, coffee- better quality.

After surgery, not allowed lifting, pod machine works.
For general use I like the Bluecup pods, easy to fill. Good Crema.
Check out videos/reviews first, before buying any system.

  • anyone use this with portable Wacaco?

    • Some of our customers do use reusable capsules with the Wacaco machines. We suggest talking to a Wacaco technician first to confirm if they recommend modifying your machine (the blade inside can be removed for compatibility purposes).
