When you buy any (?) of the tiers you can also get Jackbox Party Pack 5 for $13.99 USD, which is roughly the same as its historical-low price.

I've never played any of these. Can somebody who has comment on the differences, best value?
My audience would likely be the teenagers and their friends.

    • +3

They are great fun, and if you can't get them off their phones, this is a good way to have them using their phones but being engaged.

Just get the biggest pack, then they can choose which game to play from there

I have all of them and they are great fun for teenagers and adults. You don't know jack is funny trivia. The Party Packs are awesome fun games, where the funniest responses win. Because of the anonymous responses, it gives everyone a chance to drop their guard and let loose. I found out my youngest daughter who has anxiety and rarely speaks up in groups has a wicked sense of humour and has everyone rolling around with laughter.

I would highly recommend going tier 4 and getting all the party packs.

All the old YDKJ (Tier 1 and 2) are 90s PC games that require 3 people to share a keyboard.
I would suggest buying Tier 4.

I would have a quick google even if you've already bought it. In general there is ~1/2 games of each party pack which people rate the best and have some kind of replay value. It may just be our group but I find a lot of the games lack the ability to bring in individuality. The stand alone games I found the best: Drawful2 and quiplash (some of them are also in packs, or a version of them is in a party pack)

Drawful 2 is (in my opinion) the game with the most replay value (Drawful 1 is in one of the packs). I own the entire suite (excluding Party Pack 5). I haven't played around with custom sets of questions for any of the games, but they would add some increased value for the other games.

Highly Recommend Jack box party 2. It has a game Bomb Corp which is a team based code breaking game. One of the best ones out there.

Also Jack box party 3 has Fakin it which is fun too however short.

Fibbage XL is also a must as well as Drawful 2.

  • How do you physically play this with 4 people?

    • +3

Launch the main game on your computer. Then everyone logs in via jackbox.tv website on their mobile device.

    • The Lie Swatter game even takes 100 players, Bracketeering does 16, and several others do 6 or so players. It's a really, really good pack for parties.

  • +1

This is a fantastic deal, however I get way more convenience out of owning them on my Switch.

  • Thanks OP, got a big party in a couple weeks and this will be perfect. Need to dig out my Steamlink so we can stream this to our big TV.

    • +3

Remember, if you have an Android TV or a newer Samsung TV, Steamlink app should be available to download, though, there is something to be said about having a dedicated device to handle the streaming

      • Does the xbox controller work with the steamlink app on Android TV? I have an LG TV, and i use an xbox controller with the physical steamlink device.

        • I use my xbox controller with my android tv (Vodafone tv) and it work, but I haven't used steamlink, howrver I dont see why it wouldnt

  • Do the Party Packs contain all of the games from the lower tiers?

    • Not necessarily, they have You Don't Know Jack in a big omnibus, but not specific categories like in this one.

    • They do contain Drawful 2, Quiplash and Fibbage XL

  • Love these games. Have enjoyed playing them with friends.

  • The Jackbox Party Packs are the only ones with smartphone compatibility, right?

    • +4

The individual Drawful 2, Quiplash and Fibbage XL work the same way (from memory).
