iOS App - Death Rally - Free Today

720

Sigh - bought this in May even though I don't have a compatible device yet.

May as well pick it up for when you get that new ios device, but note compatible devices.

Have a gen2 iPod touch :) not supported on that though :(
But have access to iPad1&2 & gen4 touch.
Was buying a 3gs, then 4, but def getting the next iPhone esp as Android has no net access in its stupid OS (no authenticated proxy support).

Did you know you can get a refund on App purchases?
        When you're in iTunes:

        1) click your email address in the top right corner
        2) then click on "Purchase History"
        3) At the top you'll see your latest purchases. At the bottom is a history of previous purchases. Depending on how many apps you've downloaded, both free and bought, it can be quite a task to try and find the app you want a refund on. Once you've found the app,
        4) click the arrow on the left of the order date
        5) then select "Report a problem". This will make the text "Report a problem" appear next to the price of each app bought in that batch of apps.
        6) click "report a problem" next to the app you want a refund on
        7) Select your problem from the drop down menu and add any comments you have.
        8) click submit! :p

I'm not sure if there is a time window in which you can claim a refund but its worth a try considering you don't have a compatible device (which is an option you can choose as your problem). Obviously only use it for legitimate errors.

Alternatively you watch this video which explains how to do it:
        http://cnettv.cnet.com/refunds-iphone-ipad-apps/9742-1_53-50…

Also, according to the video above, each reported problem appears to be processed by someone at Apple support. i.e. it's not automatic, which probably reduces any abuse of the system.

        • Nice. Thx.

        • I did that downloaded the wrong thing already owned the premium version and got the non premium by mistake, cost me $10, got it refunded within 48hours.

If you do it too many times you'll find they will stop refunding you. It all comes down to the reason.

Strangely you get to keep the app as well.

    • I had 40 apps in iTunes before i got my iPhone only bought 1 though rest were free, i was getting ready for the iPhone4.

  • thanks…downloading for ipad

  • deal is listed as expired, but I still downloaded ok…. thanks OP.
