    Forces you to enter credit card details for a free purchase - not downvoting, nor taking the risk of giving them (and their third parties who process it) details they don't need.

      You can add it using the Uplay app without adding a credit card number. In the game list, scroll down past "My Games" and it is in the giveaway/trials section.

    I thought I saw this before.. alas from a different supplier.
    Would one be better than the other? Or no difference? Perhaps there's a difference with online multiplayer???

      Ah… so that's why it's free at Ubisoft store.
      I also have it on the Epic store. Prefer Steam, but free is free.

        I have gotten it for free from uplay then steam and now it's free again again on uplay.

    Man, this game was really hype during the beta. They released it with all this in-app purchases like a mobile game, turned to trash.
