Could of given the poor old duck some facial features Lego

    • Pretty sure there are plenty of face mods out there.
Not that that helps the set itself out of the box

      What's "could of"?

      • -3

'You use could to indicate that someone had the ability to do something. '

        • -1

What longhaul84 probably should have said is that "could have" (or its shortened form "could've") is the correct phrase to use in this context (not "could of", which is incorrect and should never be used).

@Zak: Oh right, awesome. So like 'A person could've done something better with their time then troll posts to try look cool correcting peoples phrases'. Gotcha, oh wait is that the right way to say that or do I just stick with Got Ya, or is it Gotcha'

Must lose your mind around all the Millennials and they way they incorrectly abbreviate and phrase things, Get a life guys….

            • @worthy1: Yes, that's correct usage of "could've". Nicely done.

But, FYI, you made several other mistakes:

Oh right, awesome. So like 'A person could've done something better with their time then than troll posts to try look looking cool correcting peoples people's phrases'. Gotcha,. oh Oh, wait! is Is that the right way to say that, or do I just stick with Got Ya, or is it Gotcha' ?

Either "Got ya" or "Gotcha" would be OK. They're both colloquial anyway.

Must lose your mind around all the Millennials millenials – and they the way they incorrectly abbreviate and phrase things,. Get a life, guys.

I find that age isn't always directly related to literacy, actually.

  • Would love to see some more Australian landmarks in lego.. A smaller Opera house would be nice, The AMP tower (or whatever they call it these days), The Sydney harbour bridge, Uluru, eureka tower etc etc
Then again, prob a ton of decent MOCs to copy already out there

      Etamogah Pub would be fun

The Lego Eureka Tower? Lol, what a flop that would be.

Heck, I don't think most people in Perth know what the hell the Eureka Tower is, let alone the rest of the world.

Of those landmarks you listed, only two would be internationally-known beyond Australia (the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Uluru) and even then, predominantly in the Anglosphere, so the appeal would be extremely limited globally (I'm struggling to picture Lego's rendition of Uluru looking like anything other than a pile of melted-looking, brown bricks by the way).

They've already done a Lego Architecture Sydney skyline and a Lego Architecture Sydney Opera House. I think that's plenty for Australia's largely architecturally-uninspiring landmarks.

Don't forget Lego Expert 10234, for those that want a massive Sydney Opera House.

If they did Uluru Lego would be in the news for cultural misappropriation …..
