Credit to 'Honey' chrome extention. Got this code when trying to buy food voucher from Groupon and realized the 10% off and 15% cashback has expired yesterday.
Tried Honey and got a code BONANZA and the following message shows up:

bonanza has expired. But we still want you to get extra savings. Take 10% off (up to $50) with this discount!

Then click 'Apply Coupon' to enjoy the discount.

Tested the code multiple times and seems only working on Local deals and there is no restriction on redemption.
Try it and see if this works.

  • Cashback won’t apply if it’s not a supported code. Or, at least it shouldn’t.

    • I've messaged tightarse about it. Hopefully he'll approve it.

      • BONANZA is not an approved code (for us anyway). Please see here.

  • I think it has always been like that.
Usually they give 10% off code if you apply any expired code on it.

  • wouldn't honey interfere with cashback tracking cookies?

    • it will, so i usually enter the code manually and activate cashback later

    • wouldn't honey interfere with cashback tracking cookies?

100% it will. Don't forget Honey is an affiliate channel, just like cashback sites, therefore only will be attributed the sale. Activate the code via Honey, and commission goes to them and nothing to you. I can't tell you the number of untracked claims that come through with sales being attributed to Honey, so you need to be really careful with this extension. The only way to be certain tracking works via cashback sites is to completely remove it.
