  • What is the different of classic and deluxe?

    • manual dial vs digital display

      • Paid $80 plus 2000 points for classic , is digital display worth $20 more?

        • +1

I know I posted that deal lol.. each to there own digital looks better imo & Tefal priced well overall
You should be asking is the Phillips worth extra $200 once again personal choice

  • Are these better than the Kmart ones?

    • +2

I highly doubt Kmart airfryer would be better or as good as tefal/phillips, would do the job but build quality & overall functions would be basic, like buying a kogan tv or a lg both do the job but quality completely different

      • +2

Yes. The cheap air fryer blows has worse hot air flow, and the results is that the food is not evenly air fried and the texture is just not as good.

Speaking as the owner of a cheap airfryer who eventually wrote off the junk.

I don't think they are. I've had 2 Philips ones in the past and my current KMart one does everything just as well, has lasted longer and is easier to clean. I recently bought the Aldi version (identical, but bigger) when they had it on special for $99 and sometimes use both at the same time for different foods. There is a very active KMart AirFryer group on Facebook if you are interested.

Same here , we have the philips xxl advance at home and the blokes at work bought the kmart one for lunch room and i must say for everyday use the kmart one seems as good and much easier to clean , if i bought for home again i would get kmart one

        • That Kmart one probably cops a thrashing with everyone using it as well so it’s a good indicator of how decent they must be in terms of cost vs quality
Will defs consider the Kmart one now.

@Hirolol: i thought it would be utter crap myself but was very surprised , it gets used by 3 shifts at work and has been going strong for 5 months now.
it had a plastic smell so we ran it through for 2 cooks at 15 minutes to get rid of that before we used it

    • I bought the Kogan couture air fryer during the last deal. Nothing wrong with it. Works well.

  • Code doesn't work for me? It should work?

    • Looks like error with the code supposed to end tonight, contact eBay support

  • Is it only for ebay plus members?

  • was about to buy the XXL but now it's out of stock. :(

dont worry back up plan, use cash rewards/cashback $344 at amazon delivered

      • +1

Note: I just got it from amazon too (with 10% cashback) but it does have a 1-2 month wait period.
The current $50 phillips cashback promotion last submit date is unitl 29 September, so it's a bit of a risk.
However i am going to try claiming cashback on my order before physically getting it (i.e you don't need a serial number or anything, just a picture of the invoice which the Amazon order confirmation should hopefully be good enough)

The Promotion commences at 09.00am AEST on 02 August 2019 and ends 11:59pm AEST on 01 September 2019 (“Promotional Period”). All Claim Forms must be submitted by 5.00pm AEST on 29 September 2019.

        b) visit www.philips.com.au/promotions and:
        (i) create a Philips account;
        (ii) register your product; and
(iii) complete all fields on the official online claim form (“Online Claim Form”) with the
Claimant’s personal information and product purchase details
(iv) upload a clear and legible scan or photo of the fully paid purchase receipt or tax invoice
indicating store name, store location, receipt number, date of purchase, model/item
purchased and amount paid (Proof of Purchase) for the Eligible Philips Product.

        • I doubt it will be good enough. You get the order confirmation (is this an invoice?) before they actually bill your card. You could cancel the order after receiving the cashback.

Amazon won't charge your card until 1 or 2 months when they ship it. If whatever "invoice" they give you is enough to claim the cashback, it's free money for anyone.

          • @lostn: Just got delivered today! Box is massive. So I'll try putting through the claim today

        • I’d be surprised if they take 1-2 months, probably just out of stock & will come quicker once stock comes in, can always just cancel if another deal pops up in coming weeks

        • How did you get 10% cashback btw? It shows 8% for kitchen and dining. Electronics is 4.5%. What does this one fall under?

          • @lostn: Yeah I actually only got $21.90 (expected cashback) which is only about 6.5 back. Or its about 7 back if it's the GST price (312)
