Aren’t you better off with 1% Cashback with ShopBack?

    • +18

      no, 1% at $1000 = $10

      2 qff at $1000 + bonus 750points = 2750 points depending how you value it say 1 cent per point $27.50, also if you do 5 seperate $200 transactions receiving 5 x 750 bonus points would be: 3750 + 2000 = 5750 points = $57.5

Thanks for the explanation. Wasn't sure on the value of QFF poins

    • +4

Nope even not getting the bonus FFP sell for easily 1.2 c a pt . So 2.4% per $1 .
      Spend
      $200 get bonus worth $9 = 4.5%

  • Would use of promo codes be valid?

interesting, never had an issue with using coupons

      • +1

Doesn't seem to have any coupon listed on their website

        • +4

looking through my past transaction that I have used a coupon, all points have been confirmed

          • +8

@RogueWolf: same here. coupons and gift cards used.

Edit: who buys on eBay without a coupon anyway

I have given up on Qantas mall. I made a number of big purchases going through their portal and none tracked (all extensions and VPN disabled). Raised tickets for them and all were refused with no real explanation. Some used discount code, some didn't.

Would rather use shopback. At least it works.

    • +1

weird, All my purchases have been tracked and paid

    • +1

I have had massive issues with AirBNB through Qantas.. its really a nightmare.. their trackers are broken that's for sure.

I’ve been chasing down 5000 complimentary points from a booking complication for over a month now, have sent all of the evidence several times, they just keep swapping me between QFF support and Customer care. Just give me my damn points!

    • From my experience it's the other way around, Shopback is useless and never works, while Qantas Mall works everytime without any trickery or disabling.

Still waiting on Qantas to refund my money from the Sony earphone debacle.

Frankly, the Qantas Store couldn't even competently organise a piss-up in a brewery.

    • I haven't checked in the past couple of days but my order hasn't moved at all since I ordered it (and I was probably one of the last ones). How annoying.

      • Did you use the code?

        • Yeah hah, probs shouldn't have.

          • @Ghost47: It doesn't say cancelled against your order status?

            • @ash2000: As of 2 days ago no. Hasn't moved at all -_-

              • @Ghost47: Ok….. Maybe you'll get yours, but the revised shipping date is Dec 31!

Better than my situation, order cancelled and no refund!

                • @ash2000: I doubt I will. I'm going to have to contact them now, it's somewhat ridiculous my order hasn't moved or been cancelled.. and if it is going to be cancelled I have a feeling I won't be getting my points or money back any time soon.

I'm never shopping via Qantas store ever again after my Sony earbuds order got cancelled after 2 weeks of order being placed!!

    • +3

Online mall is a different platform to rewards store..

    • +4

Thats what everybody says about a retailer until the retailer provides a good bargain LOL!
I heard that one said so many times on Ozbargain especially around "price jacking" but when a bargain comes along we sell our souls to the bargain god and buy it anyways.

  • Fark me…just paid for a $700 phone using ShopBack on Saturday; and it wasn't even tracked by the look of it

  • This just reminds me that my free wine ordered from Qatans Wine never got shipped. Logged two tickets and got no response. All they did was sending me survey about the “purchase”. Gave up already:)
