I have been looking for a new microwave for a bit. I managed to snag the last Stainless Steel Breville Quick Touch in stock from Amazon, as a result it is on back order at the moment but the price is prety good for the model. Myer had the same price in the 20% ebay deal (was reduced to $299, ~$240 after 20% ebay deal last week) - Amazon has a higher Cash Rewards payout so I went with them instead.

Drops to $223.98 using Cash Rewards ($15.22), possibly lower with other providers.

CCC shows this as being a low price for this unit

Cranberry and Black colours are both higher price.

I like this unit as you can adjust the heat and time while the microwave is in operation. You tube marketing video here if you want to see a bit about how it works.

  • think your better off with the lg NeoChef for $195 pretty popular microwave on OzB

  • +1

It's a pretty decent microwave BUT it sounds like a plane taking off and the text printed on the front of the unit and on the buttons comes off if you look at it wrong.

Second that, it's freaking loud and all the text on our buttons has disappeared. Other than that it's a good microwave.

      • You guys talking about the LG or this Breville?

        • This one, the Breville.

      • We aren't a fan of the dial or needing to open the door to set a quick timer either.

        • I have seen a few comments in reviews on the quick timer issue. I had thought it's probably a matter of geting used to the process of hitting the quick setting when the door is open as you put stuff in? or is it a case of old habits die hard?

      • I was a bit worried about the noise. We have a cabinet it will sit in so hopefully that will keep the noise down a bit. I'm not adverse to lining the cabinet a bit to help kill some if the noise.

  • great microwave, we love ours
