It's literally in the first line negative nancy

You need more than 3-4x as much of the 99c stuff than the $3-$4 stuff.

    You're not saving money.

    • Your probably right PW , might try the concentrate one where you mix with water

So do you buy the $3-$4 stuff and pour it in a container 3-4 times bigger and add water?

I didn't think so, so yes you are saving money with the 99c ones.

No… I just use a drop (the stuff is way thicker, the 99c stuff is the consistency of water and requires a decent squirt).

I dilute it in water when I use it (e.g. the sink)…. how else did you think this would work lol

You're also wasting time and effort as the cheap ones don't clean that well.

    • "You need more than 3-4x as much of the 99c stuff than the $3-$4 stuff."

Yes he is. He's saving 3-4 cents per time. Winning….

Not 99c but a while back I tried Woolies brand dishwashing liquid and found it way better than the stuff I'd been using that cost at least twice as much. Not generally a fan of "house" branded stuff as it can be very hit and miss but in this case it works.

  • Anyone use the Aldi 99 cents liquid?

  • we use a good concentrate at home but found household members dont adjust how much they use - ie they will use a big squirt despite only needing a small amount, negating any benefits from being a concentrate. but for $2 a bottle (aldi premium), who cares?

I just love Palmolive but only buy it when it's half price, only when I get 20-25% off during flybuys promotions and use 5% off Coles gift card. After that it's definitely better value than 99c.

  • Saving $2 isn't worth it for useless overly smelly goo. Anything which only saves you a dollar or two generally isn't worth it.

  • I use Morning Fresh. I wash a hell of a lot of dishes (six-person household, no dishwasher), and it's hands down the best one. I never pay full price for it because it's half-price every few weeks at either Woolies or Coles, so I just buy two bottles and that lasts till the next time it's half-price like three weeks later.

I use the Aldi 99c one because my husband has no concept of how much to use and will squirt a giant dollop of Morning Fresh to wash 1 dish. Works fine enough though
