Thought this was the Adam Goodes movie?

      Lmao

Yeah I'm not sure he has done enough to be called one of the greatest Aussie sportman of all time. He was only a dual Brownlow medalist, dual premiership winner, four times all Australian, part of the Indigenous team of the century and three time leading goal kicker for the Swans just to name a few. Not to mention his leadership on and off the field or his Australian of the year award.

      • -3

        He's still a flog.

        • +1

How so? He was one of the best footy players of all time who had the guts to call out racism and got harassed and vilified as a result of it. He is not a fog

@JRozells: Doubt you'll get a reply, and certainly not a rational one.

He's a bigger man than you'll ever be.

it will be free very soon on abc or sbs so save your money.
having seen the film i can say thatit pushes the racism angle very stringly and certainly eddie mcguire and the girl in the crowd were ravist.
however it totally misses the point that the crowd were usually boing because they were there forthe footy and will boo anyone who makes a scene and distracts them from whatthey came to see which is football.
worth watching and he was a great olayer but its a very PC heavilypushing an agenda and is so biased its basically propaganda.

I agree - it's very stringly, full on ravist and whatthey about olayer.

These are likely tragic symptoms of too much Fortnite, Assassins Creed & Gears of War.

      Cheers for the honest review.

"Biased" suggests there's a reasonable alternative view. What is that exactly? While you're there, in what way is the story "propaganda"?

      • ideally the documentary make should not be biased and show both sides of the story with interviews from both side with no selective editing etc. as four cornersused to be. it seems like they picked a viewpoint and then fotted a narrative and footage around it. they have a message and are oushing it. but look its a pity he didnt play another year or two and mcguire did overstep the mark with his gorilla comments. anyway make your mind up when it screenson free to air soon.

You didn't answer the question. What is the alternative view/other side of the story? That there's no racism in Aussie football or among a small percentage of followers? That Goodes and numerous other players haven't been taunted and race-baited by ignorant bogans who objected to him calling them out and celebrating his origins? Spit it out.
