Thanks, the price I'd advised had delivery inclusive.

      • Damn only $40 delivery, shows $110 melb, & higher in outer areas

        • Damn, their charging pretty hard for interstate delivery.

@mkhan: I thought $110 was reasonable for 82" lol, overall cant beat appliance online eBay with prices even with shipping they destroy everyone

@RogueWolf: True, when you compare them to other stores the delivery cost does pay for itself lol

  • I won’t need it until October. Should I wait?

    • Wait by dec 2k

    • +3

If you can wait until the last week of November there will be lots of Black Friday deals, which are often the best deals of the year.

    • Y, I would/am waiting as well(for 55/65 tv). I wouldn't expect the super keen prices to vanish any time soon.
Having said that, only you know your sweet spot.
edit: and apparently google as well.

      • So should I buy it now?

        • If you got the $ then buy now. Great price for a mega huge great brand TV.

  • Whats the quality like on this screen? Anyone comment on it?

    • +1

It's got an acceptable picture quality

Is it oled? No oled, no deal.

    • OLED is dead lol.

      Samsung is QLED.

      • OLED > QLED in all but brightness from what I remember reading last year (oh and higher risk of 'burn in').

Also something about the older OLED pixels not being fast enough for gaming, or something like that.

But, that was a while ago and I can't vouch for that being correct.

It's worth reading up about it I guess, before making a decision, but in the end a lot of it comes down to personal preference.

  • Price has gone up now. They keep changing price.
