Can collect in store as well. Seems to be the cheapest price at the moment for the Sapphire Plus RX 5700.

That's not a great deal at all.. there have been partner designed 5700XTs going for ~$600 on eBay sales
Paying more for a lower tier GPU makes no sense

Not 'lower-tier' in some brand sense, in the sense that it's a less powerful card (at least, that's what I took the comment to be saying… rightly)

        Lower tier as in it's a 5700, not a 5700 XT.

Sadly not a good deal, even if it is the best price for this model.

The RTX 2060 Super is faster. It's readily available for the same price (currently $650 for basic dual-fan models from Umart and Mwave). Plus, the 2060 S has ray-tracing capability while the RX 5700 doesn't. And, the 2060 S comes bundled with two rather expensive games (Control, and Wolfenstein Youngblood) while the RX 5700 only offers 3 months of Xbox Games Pass for PC (worth a lot less).

So, there's no reason to get this over a same-priced RTX 2060 Super.

Yep, for whatever reason the Sapphire cards are hideously expensive in Australia. Probably because they are getting better thermals and noise than everyone else's AIB cards. So instead of pricing it $10 USD higher than the reference card, which is what it costs in the US, our Australian sellers have upped the price by $150 AUD. Gotta love the Australia tax

Needs an "XT" at the end and it would be an ok deal

During recent eBay promotions you could get a reference 5700 for less than $500 . Better quieter cooling is nice but at this premium the price /performance ratio becomes a lot less compelling .

This is a bad deal considering that with the reasonably regular eBay sales you could get a 5700XT for less than this 5700(non-XT).

  • Expecting to get this card but the XT version very soon on eBay sales for around 600 if sufficient stock arrives in the country.

  • One of things that annoys me the most about the cost of cards like this is that the MSRP on the card is only US$9 more than the reference card. Someone along the chain is really marking things up.

I love how they quote "Retail Price" to be $819… what a joke!

Equivalent in price to the red devil, lol.

The Pulse is an excellent card and a great buy…at its rrp. It's bad at this price, as it's competing with the red devil.

So we're still at "just buy reference". Good cards cost to much, the MSI cards (only remotely reasonable cards despite being…what, $50 over what they should be?) are plain shoddy, not good considering the price premium. A UV should do a decent job, at least for the 5700.

  • Definitely a rip.

  • probably shouldn't be on this site…

  • what do you guys think about 5700 Mech for $559 after 20% off from FUTU?
