Nope - fantastic units, at the right price. This is not the right price.
They're the complete opposite, probably one of the most useful devices I've ever owned. Makes the housework a ton easier when you can spend the time on other tasks and let it run.
They're fantastic. Does a very good job from a cleaning perspective. We have three cats with long hair that sheds and this ensures whenever we get home we have a clean floor. We hooked it into home automation so that every time the house is empty the vacuum starts, and when we return it'll dock if its mid vacuum. Has been one of the best gadgets we've bought this year, if not ever. Also have a dyson and Miele but rarely need to use those anymore.
We have the 2nd gen but barely use the mop function.
The prices here are poor. We got ours (S50) in March/April and spent something like $450 - 480 or so and even that was higher than some previous deals.
Why so? Mine's been one the best purchases i've made for a long time
