  • Thoughts on this compared to laundry liquid at woolies?

My wife loves them, she thinks the clothes smell nicer and a lot easier, just when you have a half load it's a bit of a waste so we keep liquid backup.

    • I'm teaching my tweens how to use the washing machine and take responsibility for some of the laundry, the capsules are great for this. Much easier than measuring liquid and remembering the correct drawer compartments.
The capsules do work and smell great.
      Thanks OP!

I'm teaching my tweens how to use the washing machine

Much easier than measuring liquid and remembering the correct drawer compartments.

If you are teaching them shouldn't they learn how much to use and what compartment to put the liquid in?

        • Yes definitely. That's the next step. For now they're learning the importance of sorting the loads & the different machine settings for different types of loads, as they have several types of uniforms requiring differing care. They know the capsules are more expensive per load than liquid & that I'll move them onto measuring the liquid in due course.
In the meantime I'm happy that they're taking initiative & learning willingly.

and remembering the correct drawer compartments.

How do capsules help here? You wouldn't want these in your fabric softener compartment….

@bozbargain: Haha yeah I imagine that would make a mess. Capsules go directly in the drum with the clothes

              • @Riahlegab: Whoops. Of course. Pardon my silly comment. Having said that, for years people put their powder with their laundry straight into the drum (front loader) as well so not even sure if putting liquid/powder intro the (right) compartment is better?

You're not supposed to put liquid or powder directly into the drum.

Pouring it into the compartment means that the powder has a chance to dissolve or to stop the liquid being absorbed into clothes which then takes extra time to mix properly.

I have never used capsules but would think that they are also better to go into the compartment so the coating has time to dissolve.

Cold wash setting, then there's no need to sort colours because the cold water doesn't make them run :)

          • @Riahlegab: Sorting loads? Different settings?
OK wow. I use one setting and Chuck it all in together unless it's new then it gets washed on quick by itself to colour fast it haha

How does the flavour of these compare to "tide pods"?

    • The original flavour is still the best.

  • Is this considered "Grocery" and eligible for the 15% Shopback cashback?

    • Under "Health, Household & Personal Care" so 7%.

Anyone have an idea about carbon/waste footprint compared to liquid detergent in a tub?

  • Does the capsule wrapper dissolve completely, especially in cold water…my concern would be it "gumming up" the pump etc?

  • I personally don't like the cleaning power, a bit too weak compared to normal liquid

  • Is this meant to replace those pods they had before?

  • Was hoping they have the sensitive version but no :(

  • Can't seem to add to cart :(

  • Can't add to cart

    or buy now…

    Even though say 4 left..

  • Sold out. Price is now $57.99

  • Thanks OP. Bought 6 packs

  • Sold out (at that price)

  • how many wash per pack?

    • 26.

  • This was $14.74 on Amazon last time. Good deal nevertheless.

Per millilitre, this is by far the most expensive way to wash. I don't understand how this is easier? It literally takes me a few seconds to pour liquid in the draw.

  • Those who missed can get the 4l cold power for $14.40 plus SB.

  • Back in stock. Please update the listing.

    • Gone again!

  • Paid half that price, last August. Does that make it 100% off?!

Did hundreds of loads, cold, 40deg, 60deg… Every different type of contents. Never one issue.

Ran out 2 weeks ago, grabbed Dynamo Professional Free & Clear. The Mrs swears its turned the whites grey.

  • I bought this last year and bought them agian this morning.
I love these far more than any other product on the market

  • I bought these last year and just ran out and I missed this deal. So annoyed

  • Stack up on these deals, you can get at least 2 packs into 1 container. Packaging these days is such a waste.
    - easy to use
    - clean the clothes well, even in cold water
Still keep some powder for the small loads, but otherwise these are great. Look into the box, see 10 capsules = 10 washes., harder to gauge with powder\liquid.
