      Unfortunately not, but with change left over from a couple hundred, it's still a pretty good array of formats.

      MKV is only a container file, if you rename it to AVI then there is a good chance that the TV will play it

      @anthony, not really. the headers will indicate that it's an mkv file and the player would not recognise it
      
      but it does beg the question, can it play x264/h264 encoded files?

runs off 12v, great for a 4wd/caravan/rv etc! although you might already have an inverter anyway

Recognition of up to 400gig powered hard drive…is…ok (just). Can you record one channel while watching another channel. Or would this require a twin tuner? Is there a compatible usb tuner that would allow this?
