    Going for suggestions then reading a book you have no interest in is a good way to be turned off reading.

    What kind of topics, genres etc. do you like? For e.g. in movies

      Honestly, I have a short attention span for books and I'm a slow reader as a result. So shorter books will probably have a greater success.

      As for topics/genres, it's really hard to say. There isn't anything in particular that jumps out to me. E.g. for movies, I watch a wide variety but the genre/topic isn't something I think about.

      When I was a kid, my favorite book was a picture/information book about the anatomy and species of spiders. So maybe I should look at autobiographies or a book leaning more towards fact then fiction.

    Your account was most likely created before there was an Australian Amazon. Same happened to me. I called them and they fixed it over the phone very quickly

    You need to change your Kindle store region to Australia. On Amazon.com.au hover over Accounts & Lists (top right), click Manage Your Content & Devices. Preferences. Click on Country/Region Settings and press Change.

  After reading these comments, I searched "Prime Reading" on Amazon and found 91 pages (16 books per page) on Amazon so it seems like there are over 1400 free books for Prime members.

    Prime Reading is like a library that you can borrow from. First Reads is a monthly offer to own the books that you select. Both require Amazon Prime membership.

        For me the biggest issue is some books only available on Kindle US not Kindle AU, also the amazon.com.au not supporting Family Share
