    Still overpriced.

  • How does this compare to Forza motorsport or GT sport?

    • +1

I haven't played GT Sport but I play both Forza 7 and PCARS 2 and they feel totally different.

Forza is the better looking game but PCARS feels like the more realistic driving experience.

PCARS2 is actually very playable with the controller but I think to get the most out of it you probably need to use a wheel.

It just depends what you like out of a car racing game.

Much more realistic physics than Forza, and slightly better physics than GTS, but not as good graphics.

  • Thanks mate, I do have questions! Are you playing this with a wheel? I have a Thrustmaster TX and loved it with Forza 7.. Looking for another game to play with it till Forza 8 (although, probably new xbox/new wheel required for that if they don't make it backwards compatible)

    • Just reading the comments above now, I play Forza with most assists off so the more realistic physics sounds good

I am playing with a Thrustmaster T300 with T3PA Pro pedals.

Yes I am using the Logitech G920 as I didn't want to spend a heap on my first wheel, and with a bit of calibration the feedback and physics feel amazing. The amount of detail that they have put into the tracks is amazing. I have friends with the TX (I am jealous!) and they have world number 1 times on the Leaderboards with it so it must be ok :)

For $36.30 this game will keep you busy until Forza 8 comes out next year.

      • That's awesome feedback thanks for that Benny, I wonder if you can get calibration profiles, although your friends are probably next level with theirs - was lucky with the TX picked it up from an OzB deal from the Microsoft eBay store I think it was for $175, pulling the trigger at Christmas to pair it with a proper racing seat as the racing stand I have now whilst sitting on a lounge is very difficult for fast twitch cars like the prototype and formula cars

Just hope it stays compatible with next gen Xbox

For anyone wanting a physical copy, it's $39 C&C from JB and it looks like it includes the "Japanese Cars Bonus Pack".

    • Nice thanks for sharing! Just depends if people like buying a physical copy or digital but they are both great value in my opinion.

    • A physical copy you can resell. A digital copy (that's almost the same price as a physical copy) is just a bad buy, unless I'm missing something?

      • Often either
        1) dual pc+xbox if bought digitally (not the case here.. Apparently it's surface hub compatible?? Lol)
        2) the game will be cheap enough that reselling isn't worthwhile (likely with this title.. It'll hit $20 for sure)
        3) it's the sort of game you want frequent or short bursts of, ie: you want to avoid disc swapping

Generally I go physical too, but it's not always best
