its refurbished item, do not recommend ,you can pretty much buy a brand new one at this price

    • Well spotted

      • I wonder if there are any exterior wear and tear.
Bought a Microsoft surface pro from TheHomeDepot.com.au and the condition was crap, missing accessories and it had deep scratches and dents. Trying to get them to refund the money and they don't answer calls.

$321.30 here for a brand new one with code PEACHY15

    • Are you sure the code works?
I can't see it on the page.

      • Yea it works.

        • Thanks.

          Great price then.

          • @BooYa: It will only get better in the next month. I am waiting patiently

            • @onlinepred: Oh, is there a new model that's supposed to be coming out?

              • +1

@BooYa: Yes should be. Hopefully will A) reduce price of Bose 700, and B) be a much better headphone than XM3

                • @onlinepred: Thanks for that, good to know.

Although I don't know how much better than the MX3 it could be.

Isn't it supposed to be one of the best noise cancelling headphones out there?

                  • +1

@BooYa: Yea, they could reduce the pressure effect of ANC, and also increase the audio quality, ability to connect to more than a single device, and improve warranty claims/support (although this last one will prob never change)

                    • @onlinepred: I didn't even consider that the pressure effect was an issue with some noise cancelling headphones, but it makes sense.

                      • @BooYa: Yea QC35ii is really bad for me, the XM3 is quite bad, but the Bose 700 I couldn't feel a thing

                        • @onlinepred: What do you mean by pressure effect?
I have a pair but I'm not sure what you mean.

                          • @OneMoreTune: The way ANC works is by creating pressure in the cup via deep tones. You know when you go in a plane and your ears area bout to pop? That's pressure difference, and that's the sensation I get when I use XM3 or QC35 ANC

                            • @onlinepred: Thanks for explaining, I did not know that. I don't really notice it with my pair, that would be super annoying but.

                        • @onlinepred: Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll just wait and see, too.

                • @onlinepred: Yeah, be interesting to see if Sony announce anything in their IFA briefing on Thursday. Only reason I'm holding out on buying these.

            • @onlinepred: It will only get cheaper in the next 2 years. Almost guarantee this

              • @CyberMurning: Oh ok, thanks, but I'm not sure I can wait that long (the dog next door is driving me nuts) lol

Sorry, that was meant for OnlinePred, not sure what happened there.

To make ebay links clickable on virtually any platform use the first part of the URL up to itm/ immediately followed by the item number - in this link you can see the item number is 143372064219 so thusly https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/143372064219

IFA is next week, Sony usually announce new headphones at these events. This is the same event they announced the XM3s at. Personally I'm waiting, if they announced XM4's they'll either be a nice upgrade or the XM3 will drop in price. Either way if you've held out this long I think it's worth giving it another week just in case.

    • No FCC filing, so unlikely.
