        I would assume so, I'm just referring to XDA developers website saying that Pixel 1 got Android 10, which should mean it got the new gestures as well

  Support is relatively decent with Google but I'm starting to worry about the hardware failures.

  My Pixel 2 XL 64gb recently died while charging when I was overseas. Couldn't turn it back on or get into safe mode etc. This was a refurb unit replaced by Google warranty a year ago. Just sent it back to Google yesterday and they're replacing it with another refurb unit.. Tried asking to upgrade to the Pixel 3 but they won't budge..

    I had this exact issue with my Pixel 2 XL 128GB. I found that leaving it on charge for 8+ hours and it would magically turn on when I tried. Otherwise it appeared dead and I couldnt even get into safe mode.

      Thanks for responding. I sent my phone out on Wednesday last week and received the replacement refurb unit today. Looks as new and just managed to transfer everything over. I was using a Xiaomi Mi 9T while this all took place and I must say that I have missed the Google experience despite being an older model/lesser screen.
