      How well does motion detection work? Would love to have something like this to alert me when someone is at the door. Is it fast to notify you on your phone?

        I have it mounted above my garage door. Just a strong magnet in the camera that attaches to a half ball bracket you screw to the wall. Easy to take down and recharge or access the microSD card if needed, so best if you mount it so you need a step ladder to reach - or someone can pinch it.

        Beyond that, you turn on Body Detect in the app if you want to be notified of movement. That's where the sensor can be problematic. There is no sensitivity adjustment. So I get an alert for everyone who walks along the footpath. It takes two photos and sends them to me and also records a brief video of each event onto the SD card. So if you want less and closer alerts, you probably need to mount the camera so it points more down to avoid the wider field of view where more movement is likely. I guess it depends on your environment.

        The notifications do come quickly on your phone though. A few seconds after I walk into my property, my phone goes off and I can jump straight into a live camera view if I want. Will it replace a doorbell? That's up to you I guess.

      POE system,can run the LAN cable(max distance)about 200 Meter.

    I bought the 3MP 360 degree PTZ camera setup with my home wifi. I got this yesterday. Really want to like this camera but the MIPC app is a big let down. It's really buggy and not responsive.

    I'm using it on my Samsung S10+ and tried on my wife's iPhone 10 Max. Both phone has buggy laggy response from camera and the MIPC app.

    Yes we have the latest ios and Android updates.
    Yes we installed the latest MIPC APP.
    Yes I upgraded the firmware of the camera.

    I have wasted so much time trying to get the app to just work. It works when it wants to and often I have to force close the MIPC app and restart the app and then it might start working again. When you pan the camera from the app it takes so long for the app to update the video footage.

    I have tried on both closed wifi network and from internet is much worst sometimes took up to 2-5mins to update the live view. By then the camera has steady pan too far. I'm really loosing patience with the app.

    Can someone suggest how to setup third party app like Tinycam or alike or how to get the MIPC app to work properly?

      Got three ones, and still work, MIPC also works good, maybe you can try to check your phone authorization to this app.
