Garmin Fenix 5X Sapphire (eg, toughened glass & wifi) $599 delivered. Seems a good deal, though now 2 generations old (5X Plus and 6X now available).

  Is this one the 5X or 5X Plus?

  Edit: Looking at the images of both this is the older 5X not the 5X Plus.

  10 hours less battery life in GPS mode.
  No Galileo for positioning.
  No Music.
  No Garmin Pay.
  No Pulse Ox.

    The Garmin Fenix 5X is 2 generations old. All of its features are now rolled up into the 5 Plus range, and all of those features have been rolled up into the Forerunner 945 and Fenix 6 range. I feel like it probably isn't at this point, but I suppose if you aren't after things like garmin pay and music and more battery life then its probably worth it.

    From my perspective, a va3 owner and now 5x user.

    I have not used pay/music on my va3. Battery life is superior.

    This has been a great upgrade. Battery sitting at 50 percent after 4hrs of gps since Sunday morning, plus a half hour indoor ride. Wearing it 99 percent of the day. (Including a 30k run using navigation)

    Battery mightn't survive a miler, but I'd have thought 100k would be doable without resorting to ultra Trac mode.

    The majority of the new features in the plus and 6 series are about as helpful as preloaded maps of North Korea in my car.

  just bought this new sealed watch from gumtree for $400
  But for $599, it is pretty good price
