    This movie is amazing

…with it's glacial pace which put me into a coma for 3 days.

      • Oh, shut up.

I felt like bombing them all myself, just to liven things up a bit.

@[Deactivated]: What's most amazing is old mate gliding around for 6 days….

            • @Bloodfart: No i'm sorry, i can't agree with that. What's most amazing is the action at the very end when he's led away - like just led away as if he's about to be assisted with some shopping or something. Hang on, i was still in my coma…

@[Deactivated]: He was obviously in the wrong aisle. Hats and haberdashery is aisle 9

Really? I thought it was visually stunning (so a must-buy in 4k) but I thought the movie itself was probably one of Nolan's weaker projects. Didn't think it made for an entertaining movie. Just my 2c.

        The events were so predictable

      • +2

It didn't have any twists nor did it make you think.

It just wasn't thought provoking like the rest of his work. But it got universal acclaim. Something like 96% on RT, which I can no longer trust as a guide. I definitely don't think it's worth that kind of acclaim.

Agreed. Definitely Nolan's dullest work. I have no idea why people go ape over this film.

  • theres about 10 decent movies on sale 4k for 14.99. much better than jb even with the 20% off.
dont get sicario 4k tho as its only 12.78 at jb hifi and part of the buy 2 get 1 free deal.
worth its own bargain post if anyone can be bothered or want the kudos
pickup this, creed and pacific rim for 25.50 or 8.50 ea effectively.

    • Yeah let's see what happens tonight if in takes down sales items during the 20% off or allows you to stack it on.

      • its running now so 20% off is live already

        • Yeah just noticed thanks!

    • Amazon have beaten pricematched JB's price on Sicario. $12.48 $12.78 now.

I suspect more price drops to follow to match the sale.

      • nice, they must b reading this lol. still cheaper to buy 2 get 1 free tho

  • I picked up Dunkirk bluray for $3 from target, was on clearance and just saw the 1 so didn't post deal.

It's the same price at Sanity (excluding shipping from $5.95).

However if you are looking to start a collection, they have a special offer of 5 for $55 DVD, Blu-ray and more

This includes 25 4k Blu-rays as well as Deepwater Horizon which is also included in this deal but not included in the previous link.

After you have 5 movies in your cart, additional titles from the selection are $11 each.

In addition to that, if you spend more than $75, you can use the code 'LIFEWORKS10' for another 10% off. You can get 7 titles from $75.25 shipped with the code.

    • im getting the feeling that those on that list will b the entry level 4k titles available for round $10 for quite a while

I love Nolan, but this is the least Nolan movie I have seen. And I've seen them all.
