Thanks… in Melb on Thursday so grabbed one to get back to airport

We do anything to save $2 in OzB

    • Who doesn't also love a few extra velocity points :P

Awesome - I just booked flights… Perfect timing OP! Thank you!

    Perfect timing OP! Thanks

  • why is the face on Luna Park Melb so scary

    • +2

Because it knows what you did last night.

  • Thank OP, great timing for my flight

    Still a rip off

901 bus from airport to Broadmeadows station FTW!

Depending on where you live in Melbs, it can be faster than skybus to Southern Cross, the same time, or much slower!

      But definitely cheaper.

      • Is it easy to walk from 901 bus stop to T2 arrivals/departures?

        • +2

          Yes.

        • +1

Yes. The 901/902 buses stop at the next spot to airport staff's coaches. Which is 3-4 mins walk to Terminal 3 , then another 2 mins walk will get you to Terminal 2 Departure.

        • +2

It used to be better. 901 Public buses used to stop opposite the T1 Qantas exit and then moved miles away down past Terminal 4. No doubt to make it not as appealing as Sky-High Bus

        • Yeah not the shortest walk but if you're able bodied the prob the best thing to do after sitting down for so long on a plane.

The frequency of the 901/902 buses is no where near as good as the skybus, so the longer walk combined with less frequency can be a bit stressful -ie you don't want to just miss one and have to wait - bit of you have a bit of extra time the experience is pretty hassle free.

The PVT app can help figure out connections.

OOL: 777+G:link Tram costs around $3 (depending on how far you're going)

This is such flagrant false advertising.

Nearly as bad as "stoner's pot palace'

  • Thank you, good timing.

  • Perfect, thanks!

hmm, interesting claim. Got 1 for myself after 5hours of publication xD

I feel we're just advertising for Skybus in this instance with only 75 discounts at only 10%. What company wouldn't jump at the chance for less than $150 in marketing costs with no upfront costs?

    • +1

If you buy return, it's only $32.85 for Melbourne city express + 250 Velocity points (~$2.5)

  • +1

Expiry date is 18 Dec 2019.

Didn't register that it expires so soon before buying. Sigh.

  • FYI you don’t earn Velocity points when buying Skybus Hobart tickets (or at least it was case back in July)

  • Just get skybus tickets through klook. Klook was on 10% cashback from shopback last night, and even without it's still working out to be cheaper to buy from klook.

  • Definitely not limited to 1 per person.
