    expired in may lol

  • Stella shows a best before by : 08/08/2019. As per the food and beverages guidelines are you allowed to sell stale products for a bargain?

Best before is fine, if it was "use by" then that's illegal, generally best before is way earlier than the products taste any different

Beer lasts for about 6-9 months beyond dates on the label.

    • While beer that has passed its expiration date may not make you sick and should be safe to consume, the age is likely to have an effect on the flavour.

This can vary greatly from one style to another and also depends on how the beer was produced. For example, hoppy beers such as IPAs are best consumed within three to six months of packaging, but mass produced, pasturised lagers may have minimal difference in taste.

Aging is accelerated if the beer is refrigerated. Consider the likelihood that beer from an online store such as this has been warehoused at ambient temperatures.

There are a few examples of beers which do improve with age, but this is still not guaranteed.

      Fresh is best.
