Thought this was a pretty good deal for an auto-close umbrella - especially if you've got a Amazon cart built up for the $49 free delivery.

Colour's a little weird but cheap enough.

  • any recommendations for big umbrellas that don't cost an arm and a leg?

    • About 4 years ago I bought the 3 pack woodworm golf umbrellas for less than $5 a pop.

Doing a search shows a few Aldi deals for $10 each but nothing is current.

      • are those Aldi ones windproof?

        • No idea as I've only got the woodworm ones I mentioned, but if you want windproof check that it has the opening slit about halfway down the canopy. Maybe check some comments of past deals.

E: It does say vented canopy so it should be windproof - to some degree.

      • My Woodworm one blew inside out today in Sydney and is now broken. It wasn’t that windy either and I barely got many uses out of it (max. 25 uses).

I think my next one will be a Bunnings one. Anyone got feedback on those?

Bunning one going strong so far. Bought a few years back for $10. Nothing lasts forever though.. could be only one strong gust away from breaking.

  • Postage to Hong Kong?

There's free shipping for the "protester's combo" that also includes a laser pointer, face mask, your choice of a US or UK flag, a sign written in English, a subscription to the Apple Daily, and a thank-you note signed by Jimmy Lai.

      • mr. kahn I am blessed to have you comment on my post. I've often laughed at your comments on ozb.

If you didn't laugh at them then you'd likely be insane.
