    Not too bad, but IMHO the Lenovo here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/47967 for $409 shipped after cashback is a better deal!

        Fair enough, but that was then, this is now! :p

        As I said this is still pretty good…I'll even pos the deal…but to be honest though, IMHO Asus & Lenovo = six of one, half a dozen of the other to me nowadays. Again, IMHO Asus' one-time headstart on build quality has been significantly eroded over the last few years! They're still good…but once again just IMHO they're not Toshi good anymore! ;)

        I've also not been a fan of the last few AMD machines I've had/used, but that is just my experience. I've not found the real-world performance on multitasking to be as good as the benchmarks would have you believe; nor have I found the cooling or power consumption to be on par with Intel peers.

        I'd take i3/i5 over AMD at this time…especially with twice the RAM at this price point! :)

    Does this laptop has bluetooth?

      I have one of these and sadly it doesn't have bt, the wireless is quite flaky for that matter. I'm thinking of upgrading it.

    What color is the laptop? On your website it's shown as black, and on the Asus website it's shown as kind've browny. Is it easy to upgrade this laptop if I wanted an extra few gig ram in a while?

    What's the power consumption like on these things? AMD CPU's in laptops always worry me.

      Much better than any Celeron laptop, battery life should be around 2-3 hours, the very olds AMD processors from 3-4 years ago, were big on power consumption, not now.
