[EXPIRED] Toshiba 512MB DDR2 SODIMM $0.05 - Harris Technology

330

I has come across some cheap DDR2 SODIMM RAM.

Obviously not useful for all, however there may still be users out there that require this type of RAM. Any cheaper and it would be free :-)

At the time of posting there are 40 Units in stock at North Ryde.

Whoa… Great upgrade for those with slightly older laptops.. And near North Ryde. lol

  • some android tablets might be able to do a swap? but…wow didnt know they still got these around.

    • Android Tablets like the Optus MyTab?

    • Do any tablets support upgrading the RAM? And I'd assume they would all be DDR3 now…

      • Those tablets (like Android, iOS) use DDR2. But it's a different type. LPDDR2. Not compatible with the ones in laptops.
        Not replaceable either.

I remember having a Commodore 64 and half of the 64k was taken up by the OS.

I remember having a Core 2 Duo and half of the 2Gb was taken up by Vista

  • interesting they sell exactly the same RAM for $12 if it isn't branded 'Toshiba':

Considered buying these to resell on eBay, but with $9 new Samsung branded modules with free shipping available, it isn't really worth it. Only really a good idea if you have some older systems you want to upgrade cheaply..

    • well you could ship RAM w/o the packaging for 60c(exc cost of envelope and travelling)
So say 65c per ram, sell for $8, pretty good(but then who would want these now)

The Chinese eBayers would want these to resell as 4mb RAM

        • True that. I once got an 8gb usb stick, it had a single 512mb chip on it.

  • wired, the postage of 7 is higher than that of 10

how is that "wired"? like all things buying in bulk u save on shipping. lol

      • i think he meant weird :P
