Just got this through my emails. New Balance store has just opened up at DFO Brisbane Airport. Till Sunday 17 July with every pair of shoes purchased you will receive a free pair of socks (to the value of $10), but you must mention the special (or better yet, print it out and bring it in store).
Well, it is if you are going there in the next week and buying a pair of shoes (like i am this weekend). Man, hard to please some these days for deals and cheaper things, bit rough!

I agree with the fact that the up-to-$10-value pair of free socks DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A BARGAIN!! Cos you are paying full price for a pair of "New Balance" branded shoes…
The only way this would be a bargain is if they are also having an OPENING SALE, which would then be a bargain, with the pair of socks an added bonus. Without the sale on the full price of the shoes, that's all this is, a BONUS for people actually needing to buy shoes…

well the store is at a DFO, so I'm sure the price of the shoes won't be full price. Free socks is a nice bonus though.
Yeah; that's actually how they trick people to actually going to the store. At least 50% of all stocked items at DFO are still full price.
FYI to anyone who cares, I scored a pair of shoes for $60 and also the free socks, so to me i got a deal (on both store opening prices, and also some socks!)
