  • cheap..

main concern is that they send us the chinese packaging

    • Whats wrong with those? I got 2x128GBs from the same vendor and both had Chinese packaging.

    • +2

it is chinese packaging, but I can't see much different between AU packaging

    • I think the concern is not getting 10 year warranty

      • what is the warranty differences?

generally I don't like chinese package microsd cards (from well know brands)
since I got bad experiences with fakes

        • +2

With au stock it's 10 years, with imported stock it's seller's warranty in this case 1 year

      • dang, in that case they should be mentioning that its grey import

This makes it only AU $123.96 for the 512GB, we are closing the gap on that $100 price point.

  • Has anyone had success using EVO Plus for recording 4K on a GoPro?

    • I did and it run smoothly with out any lag but Go pro get heated very soon. i guess it is go pro problem not SD card.

  • Plus 9.99 for postage…

And another 20% off with code

  • Is this any good for dashcam?

    • Yep arguably the best one for that

  • I'm hesitating after i have read its chinese package… it's so possible to find fake ssd …

I went to Samsung's online help, they asked me to download the "Samsung Memory Card & UFD Authentication Utility" from here

      https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/…

One of the 128GB's got verified. Other I will send back, I want a 10 year samsung warranty..

btw the perfect package (was a 64GB Samsung) I got from banggood or zapal (cant remember) is coming up as not authenticated/unable to verify. by perfect I mean all the markers of a fake were not present. The only chat guy asked me to look for a small circle with a check mark on the back of the sd card, and lo and behold, it was missing.

The 128GBs from Shopping Square AU had the circle.

  • Seller has a negative feedback on eBay in the last month (5!).

Common complaint is that he underpays postage, forcing the purchaser to make up the difference. I wouldn't touch this sale at all.

    • +1

Huh? I'm so confused by this

      • Seller underpaid Auspost forcing buyer to cover the gaps

    • How is that even possible, How do you underpay shipping?
You either pay for shipping or you don't right?
You buy the bag and send it. Australia Post doesn't just go, ok give us half now and half later.

I'm guessing it goes like this…

You stick a heavy item in a cheap envelope with no return address.

AusPost delivers it to the local PO and notifies the purchaser that it's waiting, but you have to pay the postage owing if you want the item.

        • +1

Yep that's exactly how it usually happens

  • I got a 128gig card with discounts $25 all up.
    Let's see the outcome

Bought two of the 256gb cards from this seller, one in a previous deal and one with this deal. Sent a message re: the first card's tracking number not showing anything on Aus Post's site, prompt reply, tracking number worked the next day.

The first took around five days postage by registered envelope, the second four days. Both grey import, tested with H2testw with provided SD adapter (can't find a usb 3.0 adapter in my messy house atm). First one is working well in my Switch, second one is spare atm.

1st card test results, 2nd card test results
