Hi guys seen this Twin quartz Halogen floodlight 1000W (2X500W Globes) on clearance at Bunnings Scoresby Victoria for half price $17.06. I know other Bunnings stock these however on price not sure. Great lighting for the shed. or inside when painting. Normally these area $34.00 as the price states.
Cool, I've been looking for one of these. In fact, I wish I had it two weeks ago while working on detailing my car. (now it's finished but due to lack of light source, it wasn't a perfect job, was too cheapskate to get a full priced one :D) Will find out if other stores has it.

The bulbs included with these are garbage. All 3 of them popped within a few hours of using the light!
If you buy one, save yourself some time and pick up two replacement bulbs at the same time.
That said, the light itself is fine.

i agree, these are crap - the bulbs blow straight away, and they are not cheap to replace. They are cheaply made and are a fire risk by how hot they get. My shed smelt like burning plastic/paint as it heated up You'd save more money in more ways than one, paying more for an energy saving version which are more robust and last longer and create less heat and save you electricity
Beware… dangerous + other reasons… no wonder they are throwing them out!
