Lol. Designed in great Britain. 100 years ago, in parts of colonial India that would have meant something. Today, one can assume someone in China has emailed the design to a Facebook friend in Manchester who gave it a like.

Lol. I guess when you're fact-deficient all you can make is assumptions. Good one. Lol.

Sunbeam is an absolutely rubbish brand these days.

If only they still made the Sunbeam radiant control toaster

    • I would say more closer to just average rather than rubbish for most people's budget.

They still have some models that are decent and offer good value for money when on sale.

I have a Sunbeam EM0480 coffee grinder stat has not missed a beat for over 7 years now,

but in saying that I have a Sunbeam EM6900 twin thermoblock that stopped working after not getting used for about six months or so. I had a cheap old breville in storage not being used for over a couple of years and still works fine three years later.

For the kinds of people here, every brand in an acceptable price range is about the same.

    thanks op bought1

  • i have the breville smart toaster which cost $140 …. tried to buy an element for it and breville don’t sell parts , so after 2 years when warranty runs out you can throw it if it breaks.

design wise it’s not so, much about brand anymore, it’s more long or short slots, width of slot, and if dies outside of warranty it will probably be throw away.

  • I had the same coffee machine as Ozhunter and it had the same death!😫

  • $109.47! How do I get the Sunbeam rosegold toaster for $39?
