Not as cheap as previous deals, but this seems to me to be a price drop (at least, there's no code required for this price and no statement that I can see that says this is part of a sale or special deal). On the verge of buying one myself, but if this is now the new normal price, then surely there's a deal coming up some day soon? :)

  • You can never tell when a deal is going to come, you just have to buy when it's a good price and you have the money to spend, or buy it when you need it, those are really your two options.

I just bought the 2000A Peak (500CCA) 20000mAh version of this for about 95 bucks a week or two ago, after waiting for a few months. Quality is really good, I will be interested to see if it will start a Ford Territory…

    • "Tunblor" Can you add link for that 2000A 200000mAh version you got as I can't find it on Amazon.

What are your thoughts of it so far ( if you already received it that is lol )?

      • It was in A Flash Sale, which has now ended:
        https://www.amazon.com.au/GOOLOO-SuperSafe-Starter-Battery-P…

I've got it, definitely a well made piece of gear! Doesn't look or feel cheap at all, good amount of features (QC3, usbC port, torch) started my ride on lawn mower a few times already with no appreciable drop in battery level, but that's pretty light duty. Have to see how it goes on bigger stuff.

        • Thanks for reply. Saw that deal when it came up a while ago, just wanted to look at the right specs as the capacity is the same as the old model G1500 ( 500A starting current and 1980mAh capacity ), just superseded that I bought earlier this year.

They have upgraded the Peak starting from 1500A to 2000A, most likely by upgrading the capacitors in the Jumperleads as shown in the new picture, all other specs for the size and usb spec is 100% same, they have changed the carry case to a smaller more compact model.

There is another Gooloo model not sold locally that has a USB C PD 60W output, that's the one I would like to get next when this one get's bit tired. Love it so far, works really well.

Don't forget to fully use up charge down to nearly empty with a low power drain and back to 100% a few times in order to flex the battery capacity and condition the battery every 6 months or so to get the most out of this, sooner if leaving in hot car.

I sugg. folks view some YouTube vid's
showing samples fr this class of prod.
    Failing, before deciding whether to
    buy or depend on one.

Is there any indication, that we in AU
get any Better, Safer, or Dependable
    designs…? I doubt it.

Maybe compare to what your RAC- / RAA-
Road Service has in their vehicles.

I, for one, am alerted by the "mixed-
    Units of Measure"… here:

"900 A Peak" [for some sliver of time]

    "18,000 mAh" = 18 Ah ("mAh marketing")

    Where are "Recommended" parameter values
    eg by engine cyl. count?

Better, where are reviews of products,
    that we're Offered locally?

Where are some sound tests we can do?

(Of course, some tests destroy or
    reduce effectiveness of the product
    being tested)

What's with the formatting mate? It hurts my face.

      • Ozbargain post, strange format.
        Spontaneous thought: haiku?
        Actually mouth purge.

      • I got tooth decay from that post

    • It's pretty simple. "18000mAh" is the capacity, "900A peak" is the peak output under load.

$84.99 was supposedly the "normal" price for this when I bought it for $59.99 in July last year. AUD has weakened by ~9% over that time so it's probably a reasonable price but for those willing to wait you may be able to get for $10 or $15 less if the AUD doesn't head further south.

  • Price has gone back up. Changed status to expired.
