  • The website doesn't offer any DC fans and I'm after a few :(

Hi, check out our other website. these have DC fans. https://www.360in.com.au/

    • You can't use the new brilliant wifi controller with dc fans

I've got 3 of these at home, had them for a year now and they are really great for the price. I've got the E27 fitting on them and they don't wobble or make any annoying noises. Paid $152 each so this is a pretty nice deal - no experience with the seller though.

    • no experience with the seller though.

My experience with the seller was positive. Ordered the fans late on Thursday delivered this morning. Only time will tell about the fans though.

Same price at Bunnings, except the Bunnings one comes with 2x lamp holders instead of led. This would allow you to use smart globes if you have them.

    • Beat me to it lol, was just about to post that. I got 4 of them from Bunnings a few weeks ago, no need to pay $5 for shipping either, so technically cheaper.

      • $89.10 if you have a PowerPass card too!

Hi, We supplied Bunnings these fans and are now taking them off their website to clear the remaining stock. These have the E27 fitting but we have thrown in 2 LED bulbs for free.

  • Does this come with, or can you get, a remote control?

    • Remotes sold for $50. feel free to call out office 07 3807 5029 to discuss.

    • You can add Rf, Bluetooth or wifi to these

I put six of these in my house - the version without the light. Two failed completely within the second and third years. A third fan no longer operated in the top two speeds in the fifth year. All professionally installed.

    • The fan or the controller

  • can you do a better price on the white ones?

    • Yes, Please call the office 07 3807 5029. $110 each with 12W LED

      • do you have 5 in stock?

        • Yes

          • @Crestwind: Hi i spoke to someone called Mark on the phone and email has been sent

            • @marko62: OK great. Thanks for your support

@$99 these are cheap and you got a + from me how ever ….

I brought 2 Intercept II without light and 1 With Light - Approx 2 Years ago. Mounted by Me and used a Electrician for wiring (No Remote)

My Thoughts - If your using the light from fan to light up room - Not bright enough

    I don't recommend these for bedrooms - Fan>
    1. Motor is noisy
    2. air movement is noisy
    3. the harmonics from electric grid / motor is louder than ceiling fan.
    4. Timber blades are warping

I would never buy Intercept II again -
I cannot comment on other fans.

I have heard the DC motors do not suffer from Off peak Power line noise (Or what ever it is called)

    Cheers

  • Anyone know models of E27 LED lights that fit the Hunter Pacific Typhoon oyster lights? Might be the same fitting as the Intercept).

Easy to find CFL lights, but LED are often too long or wide.

  • I got the fans installed yesterday. One faulty fan out of 5. Now to find out what the warranty claim service is like

  • Please share your experience.

    • I emailed support and they replied the same day. But as it turned out the problem went away. When i first turned the fan on there was a contact noise on each rotation which noticed had disappeared when i went back to check on it sometime later.

Support asked for a video/sound file to be sent to them. I informed them the sound had gone and they replied if it comes back the support ticket can be re-opened

      • Glad to know.
Was the fan attached to the roof wooden beams with screws or only to gyprock ceiling?
How much was the charge to install?

        • +1

I couldn't tell you if there is a beam, the fan replaced a light.
It cost me $275 to install 5 fans and while he was here i got him to disconnect all the old phone points. Which improved my FTN connection by 25%
