Looks to be cheaper @ https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/cooling-sale even without $100 gift card + they're not cooling only models.

    • Yep. That's a great deal.

You could post it, if no one else has (and the Good Guys 20% discount offer applies not only to selected Fujitsu, but Kelvinator, Rinnai, and Mitsubishi models too).

I'm not sure if all the models are in both stores (one model could be at Harvey Norman but not at the Good Guys, and vice versa) so here's a list of the model numbers eligible for the 20% off at the Good Guys https://thegoodguys.sirv.com/Content/2020FY/Promotions/wk12/…

Ps. I just checked, and there was a 20% off with a code deal on selected air conditioners at the Good Guys three weeks ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/482032 but it's expired.

No one has posted the deal yet as far as I can see. In which case, if you have the time, I think it would make a great first post.

      • Shame there doesn't seem to be any stock in WA for a 2.5kw unit in a decent brand. Rang around to ask for any Fujitsu or Panasonic.

Seems like they are phasing out the cheaper 2.5kw models and pushing the more expensive $999 newer ones.

Shame this HN offer is just for cooling ones

        • Have you tried the Good Guys with their 20% off?

Doggybag has posted a link in a previous comment.

          • @BooYa: Sorry I was referring to GG in my initial post.. they're the ones that doesn't have any 2.5kw stock in WA. Been desperately keeping an eye out since missing the Fujitsu cash back offer!

  • Do these work out cheaper factoring in installation?

    • Very hard to say, Harvey Norman offer only says that installations start at $499, but that would probably be for the smallest unit and standard installation.

I'm guessing that you'd have to ask in store about the model, and how/where you need it installed, before you could compare them.

On the surface though, it seems to me the 20% off to be the better deal (but like you said that would depend on the installation cost).
