Be aware that Golden Week falls right in the middle of this period. Plan your accommodation and travel accordingly.

That being said, this is a pretty good price for a great airline. Worth paying the extra over a budget carrier in my opinion. Also, These dates are great for catching sakura up North and at higher elevations.

    • So just goggled golden week and it sound like it will busy af. Just wondering if you have been there during this holiday if so would you recommend avoiding it?

      • Avoid if you can. But it’s always great being in Japan.

  • I looked this morning to book a flight that I found yesterday and it was no longer available.

Sydney to Sapporo was 1180 yesterday and this morning it is 2100. Either it all sold yesterday (which I find hard to believe) or something is up.

I could book codeshare flights yesterday as part of the deal but today they are not showing up.

Tyoko? be careful. most rich guys and celebrities in Tyoko already moved out to other countries because of radiation. And if you go to Japan and eat from local restaurant, convenient store and hotels, the most food ingredient from Fukushima. They said radioactive measurement seems ok but it is not.
