Sorry if this is common knowledge, however I received an email this morning from Amazon stating the following:

"$10 credit for your first App purchase.

Simply sign into the Amazon App to claim your discount*
*Minimum spend of $39 on eligible items. App only purchases. T&Cs apply."

Enjoy :)

P.S. First deal posted, hope it's all correct.

    What do we have to sing into the app to get the discount?

      Don’t worry, they are always listening.

      HAHA I was so confused by this comment. Quick typing to get the info out into the world ASAP causes downfalls. Fixed thanks !

  • I did this yesterday and didn't find a code even though it was the first time using the app.

  • Is this targetted? I did not get any emails.

    Must be targeted

  • I went into the Amazon Au website to purchase that free Pho cookbook. I was already logged in and a popup came up saying 'Get $10 promo code app only purchase'. I don't have the app installed

    Last year when Amazon also had a discount on your first grocery order, I stacked this $10 for using the app to get $50 groceries delivered for $25.

    But Amazon had incorrectly listed one item I ordered (smaller packet than listed), and they apologised by crediting me $30. So Amazon paid me $5 to deliver me $50 of groceries (in 4 courier deliveries, as items gradually came into stock).

  • Got targeted, but haven't been able to use it… I get very confused with what constitutes 'eligible items' on Amazon.

      From the email attached to this offer, the definition of eligible items;

      For the purpose of these terms and conditions "eligible items" refers to any product shipped and sold by Amazon AU on amazon.com.au or Amazon app and excludes products sold by third party sellers (even if fulfilled by Amazon or shipped and sold by Amazon US), digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Prime Video and Audible, gift cards and postage or delivery rates. Amazon's standard delivery rates and policies apply to any purchase made pursuant to the offer.

  • So I have redeemed it so it is on my account. When does that 10$ expire? trying to suss deals but I don't have access to t & c so I would find out when it expires. thanks.

    • As per the email I got, it expires 31st October.
