  • Any chance it supports Pixel 3a eSIM?

      For some strange reason, Aussie version's of the Pixel aren't supported. Her'es hoping for the upcoming Pixel 4.

      The only suggestion I can make is that you run your normal SIM as an eSIM and use our standard SIM. (I know that's not a great answer)

      • I can confirm the Pixel 3a esim works without any issues.

    • Yes it does… Can confirm the Australian version of the Pixel 3a supports esim's from Flexiroam (and even Optus, Vodafone and Telstra). I know this because I got one of the esim's from James during the lasts promo.

  • Title is a bit confusing… So are you saying that we have to purchase two sims for $9.95USD each = $19.90 total. And then after activation only $9.95 will be refunded therefore we still end up paying $9.95 in the end? Not really a "full refund" if thats the case…

    A better title and still a deal would be "Buy one, get one free"

    • The refunds will be processed as the SIMs are activated. So, $9.95 for the 1st then, the rest as the 2nd is activated.

      It would be wise to keep checking your App around the BLACK FRIDAY & CYBER MONDAY dates as Flexiroam typically offer something juicy.

      Of course when they happen it is hard to access them unless you have the SIM and App ready to go!

    What is the expiry date for SIMs?

    • Hi PChinna,

      Once activated, the SIMs never expire.

      That said, the Starter Kits include 100MB of Data that can be used in any of the countries covered and is valid for 365 Days.

      The SIMs themselves must be activated before February 2021, but I'd suggest getting you money back would probably be a higher priority than the 365 Day on the included data.

          Hi PChinna,

          You don't need to maintain a minimum balance to keep the SIM 'alive'. You can simply add Data Plans whenever you need to via the App (or our website).

          You can purchase 'wallet credit' in increments of USD $35 but I've found a clever way to take advantage of special offers (or wallet credit for lesser amounts) is to buy a Local Data Plan and then cancel it.       You can use your existing CallCloud account to place another order with us.

      If you are referring to the SIMs, all Flexiroam SIMs must have have a unique account. That said, you can still share data between the SIMs.

    Just to avoid misunderstanding, could you please confirm if I order three sims in the same order, all three will get refunded on activation.

    I believe that should be the case but just would like to confirm if your system is programmed to handle that.

      Apologies for the confusion. Yes, absolutely.

      The only reason I'm making a minimum order is to reduce the impact of the postage and transaction fees for each order. (Also, I hate stuffing a million envelopes).

      The refunds will be processed as each SIM activates.

  • James, if I purchase a microchip SIM, will it always require the app loaded on the phone to be able to get the phone to use my usual sim?

    If I change my SIM eg change an Australian provider and therefore use a new SIM, can the flexiroam microsim be removed and reattached to the new Australian SIM or can it only be applied once.

    • Oh, how these names crack me up!

      No, your phone will function as normal without the App. The same applies if you move your SIM to another phone. (It will detect only the SIM underneath the microchip.

      I wouldn't recommend trying to remove the microchip. I've had a few customer do so successfully after changing providers, but Flexiroam do offer a replacement in such circumstances "at their discretion". I take this to mean they are fine to replace it as long as you aren't abusing the system.

      I'd be happy to offer the same.
