All-Clad Fry Pan with Lid, 12 Inch Pan, Stainless Steel, Tri-Ply $164.71 + Delivery (Free with Prime) @ Amazon US via AU

120

Some said this will last you a lifetime.

Was watching this for a long time, priced $200+ last week. Not cheap for a frypan but very reasonable for a 12-inch all-clad pan with lid. 8% cashback via shopback on home&kitchen.

  • Have exactly the same one without lid. It is a beautiful pan but I don’t have the skill to handle stainless one. :( hardly use. Sure mine will last a lifetime

I am the same. Cast iron/carbon steel much easier. This is a good video on getting the correct temperature for frying in a stainless pan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB-SCA1reqE

it took me a while to get used to stainless but you need to let them get up to temperature first before cooking. apparently stainless has microscopic pores that things stick to while they are open and they close up when the pan is hot enough. this site is pretty helpful https://www.heritagesteel.us/cookingwithstainless

  • Is this price in AUD?

  • Just get a De Buyer Mineral b, and forget these thing that don't hold their flatness.

  • the patents on multi clad expired a few years ago now, so there are many companies including scan pan which make multi clad cookware (stainless steel, alumlinium, stainless steel) type sandwich construction.

check out amazon for cuisinart multiclad pro …..i own some allclad pans and the cuisinart is same quality but cheaper ….can get a whole set delivered to australia for under $400 with prime.

  • 12inch sounds too small….

    • Much better off getting a 30cm pan.
