If, like me, you’re a connoisseur (read:addict) of fine choc you’ll appreciate this exquisite offering.

    Thx OP!

Awesome! Love this chocolate and been waiting for a sale, thanks NC :)

    Great chocolate, recommend
    Thanks OP!

The hazelnut one is the best… but I bet it won’t be on sale

    • +1

I agree. But the hazelnut one is an imitation of Cote D'or Belgian Milk Chocolate with Whole Hazelnuts, designed to compete with that brand in Europe (in Australia we only get the Cote D'or Bouchees and a couple of small Cote D'or bars). If you like the Aldi one, make sure you get your hands on the real version someday.

      • Hazelnut was on sale last time.

        But I disagree.

        The plain is best.

      • +1

I love Cote D'Or, always on the lookout for a place in Australia that sells the milk chocolate bars.

  • is this an 'aldi' brand?

    • +6

Sure is. And it's damn good!

      • wasn't trying to be offensive or anything, I just never shop at aldi so I'm not sure of their home brands.

        • Never implied with my comment that you were. :) Just confirming to you that it is, indeed, an Aldi brand… That and it's delicious!

  • Was very excited when other flavours went on sale last time - thought it was a permanent drop and didn’t stock up 😢

    • +1

      Friend, how so?

    • +1

Aldi chocolate tends to be made in either Belgium or Germany.

    • +2

What a retarded comment, Gearup. They're made in Germany

  • +1

The milk chocolate is amazing, so is the white one. Beats Cadbury IMO.

    • +14

Is beating Cadbury really considered an achievement?

      • -4

All depends on taste. Cadbury milk chocolate is probably my favourite of all, versus many other Cadbury Chocolate flavours as well as many other Chocolate by other manufacturers.

I'm looking forward to trying the Aldi variants though.

Yes coffee cream on sale !!

  • +4

Coffee & Cream is a great flavour that I'm surprised is not more popular here with other brands.

    • is it very sweet ?

      • It's fairly sweet, it's milk/white chocolate based so about as sweet as those. Not a dark chocolate.

  • +2

    No Dark Chocolate sale?

    • +1

      There was in August

  • +6

Dark chocolate hazelnut one is the best. So good

    • hasn't been on sale for a long time

  • +2

Some pretty enthusiastic recommendations here. Going to have to give it a go.

    • It'll be your default chocolate block from this point forward

  • Dark and the Coconut one is INCREDIBLE!

  • +1

Did they stop selling the White Coconut ones? Those were amazing and seem to have vanished lately

  • i want the nutcracker chocolate back, seems to be out of stock everywhere…. right proportion between nuts and chocolate

also the green organic milk chocolate was awesome but discontinued for years now

  • No Caramel :(
    But coffee seems nice!

  • What's the difference between these and the Dairyfine ones in the plastic wrapper?

    • +1

Although the Dairyfine white (I think that's a "limited edition" one) is very good, over all the Choceur varieties are better quality.

    • -4

These are made in China and designed in Germany. Everyone is being scammed

      • Source?

        • -5

          Taste is my source

  • +1

Have tried both the coffee cream and milk chocolate, I liked the milk chocolate better.

It's definitely not my favourite chocolate, a little too rich for me, but that didn't stop me from eating the whole 200g in a day.

My lack of self restraint is the only reason I won't be buying these again.
