For anyone looking to buy a Dyson Stick Vac (or in the last 2 years) - while the Dyson corded vacs have a 5 year warranty, the cordless stick vacs are 2 years.
The battery in our V6 started running out of juice faster and faster after the vac was around 18 months old - but it wasnt a big enough difference to contact tech support (at that time I had no idea what the warranty period was, or how long we had owned it for).
Then a few months after the 2 year mark, its down to 3 minutes of runtime which is almost useless.
Dyson email support have been very good and are sending us a new $85 battery (easy to swap out, 2 screws) for free as a goodwill gesture even though its a few months out of warranty - so props to them.
However next time I buy one, I will set up a calendar reminder for a month before the warranty runs out, and if the battery has degraded, get it swapped out before the warranty expires.
Summary: Dyson email support are good. But do yourself a favour and set a reminder to check the battery runtime before the warranty expires.
Still 20% too expensive and lasted maybe 2 years before we had problems with 2 vacs

Second time when David Jones apologises and cancel my order I placed this afternoon :( This time I attempted to purchase Dyson AM07 FAN $500. I was happy with my purchase but then received this order update email with no reason of cancellation at all. Very disappointed once again.

Picked up the V11 Absolute, this thing is amazing! So much more convenient than the Ball Animal I had before. Vacuums the house (single storey with 3 bedrooms) with 50% battery left, on auto (most of the time, at medium/high as determined by the vacuum). It is on the heavy side, so can fatigue after a while.
Did anyone find Dyson fans making super high pitch noise?
I wonder if they have fixed this.
